Check out the video in mod description to see the differences between vanilla and Surreal Lighting.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

( ! ) Surreal Lighting needs Godrays enabled to look as intended.
( ! ) Don't use other weather mods if you wish to get the intended look. No exceptions. Fo' realzz.

Way back in 2016, before I had a PC to truly mod this game with, this was the lighting mod I used for my very first playthrough on the PS4 rerelease. Seeing it now is actually nostalgic to me. It's all I can use.

I want to thank you for this mod, which fully realizes my vision of the game. I have been using your mod since the first versions of Skyrim, which I bought in 2011. Thanks bro, you're awesome.

    Hi,

How do I enable godrays? And what is it?

    EDIT:
    Found it!
It is this mod: NAT Less Lens Flare. Obsidian and Cathedral More Godrays
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27171
Thats the only mod with godrays. I still not know what it means, but looks good.
But even without this requirement this look fantastic! Endorsed.

This mod hasn't been updated since 2016 and doesn't have the attention of other lighting mods like LUX, but it's still the best.

For those who wishes to use an enb while retaining the color palette of surreal you can use zeraENB for surreal lighting and enabling UseOriginalPostProcessing with ambient occlusion, skylighting and detailed shadows on. really outshines any enb presets i've used. thank you for this

This mod looks like what Oblivion should've looked like I think, Instead of looking like the WindowsXP default wallpaper with a nuclear explosion going off nearby

Thanks you! I don't like vanilla lightning in Skyrim, And when I used enb, That thing dropped my framerate like crap. Now with this mod, I can make Skyrim weather and lightning look better without have to sacrified my framerate a lot. Arigatou, Omega!
