    Regarding VR Support:

    No, this mod will not work with Skyrim VR. I have no plans to purchase VR gear or the VR copy of the game. I am aware of a console "fix" for the issue but I can assure you that it will break things. There are extensive changes made in VR to the chargen quest that would require access to the updated plugins and script files. The expense of buying all of this simply isn't worth it since I'd never actually play it in VR. Call me a dinosaur or whatever, but I have zero interest in VR in its current state.

    Bethesda has also made it crystal clear that VR does not support mods. The code was forked from an old SSE branch that doesn't even have the latest changes incorporated into it so there's absolutely no way any mod author can say for certain that their mods will work in VR at all. As a result, no support will be offered to anyone attempting to use this mod on the VR version of the game. Any further posts on the matter WILL be deleted as this is simply NOT the place to discuss it.

    The console workaround that is being thrown around is not a solution. Your game WILL break if you follow that advice. You may not realize it right away, but it will, and that's not limited to just this mod. ANY alt-start mod will have the same issue.

    People, this isn't your personal sounding board to *censored* about the anti-console command system and whine about how you should be allowed to break your game and blame the mod authors for it because console commands are normal or some other horseshit like that.

    They are NOT normal, and you should NEVER have a legitimate reason to assume you know better than the mod's author whether some pile of rocks is supposed to be there or not. The scripting for that was not added for my health. It was added so you don't completely and utterly fubar your game by second guessing a mod's content and assuming you know everything.

    Any further posts on this subject will be summarily deleted with no response and any repeat offenders who think they have the right to yell at me about this will be blocked from all of my content.

    Hello there. I 've been using your mod for years and recently stated a high elf playthrough as a Thalmor agent . Seems I have run into yet another incarnation of Elsif and other jarls being stuck at the party bug.

    After starting the new game I throughly searched the whole embassy looting everything, I got into both buildings and made my way into the dungeon as one of the doors was unlocked - there appears to be two doors and only one is locked with expert level lock, the other was open. This apparently kickstarted the Diplomatic Immunity quest (my assumption is that was a trigger, as the embassy was empty before visiting the dungeon) and when I got back into the main building the party was in full swing. I did not progress the conversations past the "make a distraction" sequence and just left for Solitude. In the Blue Palace I ran into a situation where the scripted scene that plays when you first enter it was stuck, as Elisif wasn't there, so none of the NPC's would talk with me. I used console to teleport her into the throne room, the scene played normally and all the NPC's became available, with the exception of Elisif herself as she behaved like she was still at the party. Using comand 'recycleactor' made her go back to the embassy (I assume, as she vanished from the throne room, but I wasn't about to go all the way there and check).

    Anyway, I presume the save is toast at this point so I'm not expecting a solution (although it would be great if there was one), I'm just letting you know there apparently still is a problem with that specific start from your mod and maybe in the future update you can address that somehow. If I get any more information on this issue I will reply here or edit this post as I'm going to continue with the playthrough for now. If you have questions regarding that issue or would like me to do some more testing for you, please let me know.

    great mode i couldnt play skyrim without it but for some reason the spce beyond the cell is empty like there is suppose to be stuff there but its not i havent played the escape from this cell option yet but i was curious if u ever seen this problem

    Hi has anyone else's game been freezing when they approach the residents of shoal's rest. I am 100 percent sure its this mod since I tried playing a new game with only my normal environmental texture and enb mods.

    The "Dragonborn Gallery" quest added by Legacy of the Dragonborn and this mod is stuck in my journal and I can't find a way to finish the quest. How do I complete it?

      In that quest I'm supposed to talk to someone named Auryen and give him the Dragonstone, but I already gave it to Farengar to advance the main quest. I was able to make a replica of that stone without commands, but I wasn't able to advance the quest at all. So then I used commands to give myself a non-replica Dragonstone, and he still wouldn't take it, impeding any further progress. Do you know of a command to complete this quest? Am I even asking the right person here?

      nope, you need to speak with the legacy of the dragonborn mod author. from what you described it shouldn't have anything to do with LAL.

    For anyone having issues for Bandits, Draugr, and Undead not attacking you, here's a possible fix and cause. THIS FIX IS FOR PLAYERS WHO STARTED OUT AS VAMPIRES. Arthmoor has discussed this already in great length. That one of the biggest causes for this is people using the COC command to get out of the spawn area when you first start. DON'T use this command. COC will mess with the scripts used for when the player leaves the cave and such. Regardless, I still had some issues and problems, so I did my own digging.

    When starting out as a vampire the mod will add you to a faction known as ARTHLALBanditVampireFaction. Which will make you friendly to all vampires and bandits, without it would make trying to get out of spawn....difficult. After leaving the cave or continuing the main quest line the mod should remove you from this faction, but if it doesn't use this command. --> player.addtofaction XX0189E8 -1 <-- The XX in this command is the index/load order of Live Another Life (LAL)

    *Side note, to find the index in game type this in console --> Help Shoal's 0 <-- Look for the item named Shoal's Rest Farm Key, the first two numbers in the ID is what can be used in the previous command's index (The XX above)

    is it at all possible to start in helgen just after the cart ride or when Rikke is shouting "Next prisoner" as though i was having trouble staying awake? cause i usually wake up for just a bit and doze off again. especially in winter.

    That's odd i watched a you-tuber review your mod, he said there should be a portable mirror on one of the shelves that acts like a showracemenu command, allowing you to change your appearance whenever you want?!

    Started another game, with only USSEP and tbis mod and tbh this mod is compulsory, as mine default intro got bugged out for no reason. As expected this works just fine but there's a slight isssue. I pick the Winterhold start complete their boring quests and go to Helgen to save Ralof. He goes back to Riverwood and I follow him. Everything works but then he reaches Gerdur and just stops. Their scripted conversation doesn't play out but I can still complete the quest by talking to her. However, if I pick another start option like camping in woods, the scene works fine and everything plays out as normal.
    Also after further testing, selecting the Winterhold option and then immediately going to Helgen without talking to that college lady also makes everything work fine, like the conversation plays out.
    Also continuing from that save where the conversation doesn't play out, during the quest "A Blade in Dark" Delphine gets stuck near Riverwood bridge, doesnt walk or run.
    This mod probably has nothing to do with this but its like this game is breaking on its own. C'mon bethesda

    A minor oversight I noticed: If you rescue Hadvar and follow him to Riverwood, during the scene with the standing stones, choosing Warrior will result in him say "Warrior? Good. I knew you shouldn't have been in that cart the minute I laid eyes on you". Perhaps the line can be edited to something like "Warrior? Good. I knew the minute I laid eyes on you."
