About this mod

This is just a simple new library for the player that likes collecting and displaying books. It adds a new small library just outside of Whiterun next door to Pelagia Farm.

Changelogs
In my vast search for a library to add to my game, I couldn't find one that was just what I wanted. So decided to make my own. This is my very first self created mod. I have tested it pretty thoroughly and haven't found any bugs.

What I wanted was a simple library to store and display all the books collected throughout the game. I found about a half dozen mods that did this but they all had a bunch of extra things I didn't want, or were located where it would take a while in the story to get to.

This mod does not have extra NPCs, buggy auto-sort features, vendors, etc... It is also placed where it can be accessed very early in the story line, just as soon as you get to Whiterun.

I hope everyone enjoys it. Feel free to endorse and comment. Please let me know if you find bugs.

It should be completely compatible with everything unless you have a mod that adds items to the same area of land that the building occupies.

Features:

  • 13 quadruple shelf active bookshelves that will hold 800+ books
  • 4 labeled strong boxes to store recipes, scrolls, journals, and notes
  • Follower friendly so your followers can come in with you and sandbox around the place
  • Map marker with fast travel ability
  • Coc marker for teleporting through the console, (coc collectorslibrary)
  • Every item is hand placed along with a few food items and a set of hide armor
  • All built with Skyrim master file resources from scratch so you do not need any other mods for it to work

Screenshots are taken from the 1.0 version, 1.2 is the current version, (see changelog for details).

Screenshots are taken with other various texture mods found here on Nexus that I use in my game, so your view will reflect your textures you have installed, or vanilla textures if you don't use texture mods.
I am also using Obsidian Weathers + Re-Engaged ENB in the screenshots

Please don't forget to give an endorsement if you like my mod, thank you.

A few mods I use that work nicely with this are:
  • Book Covers of Skyrim
  • Unread Books Glow
  • Unlimited Bookshelves
