    Welcome to the SE version of Disease Descriptions for the Immersive Adventurer!

    For the SE version, I merged the two DLC plugins into the main file, since the DLC are included with the Skyrim SE. This really lowered the plugin count...to 1, in fact. ^_^ RND is still supported with a patch, but I've also made it an ESL so that it doesn't take up a plugin slot. That's about all I did for the initial release.

    If you come across any conflicts with other mods, please submit a Bug Report and we will consider making a patch.

    Looks like this mod is causing problems in my load order with the update to 1170. Trying to load into a cell from the main menu causes the game to freeze with a black screen. I know the mod is probably dead and I don't expect a patch, just noting it for anyone else.

      This mod only edits descriptions so I doubt it's the root of your issue, but I can look into it sometime.

    Very minor odd thing to note: when you select Visit on Nexus in MO2, it redirects to the wrong URL instead of this mod page.

      Double click on the mod, then at the top of the window that opens, select the 'Nexus Info' tab, then select 'Skyrim' from the 'Source Game' drop down list.

      You'll need to do this with any mods that are made for Original Skyrim (SkyrimLE) instead of the version you use.

    I am getting the following error in Mod Organizer 2:

    Missing Masters: RealisticNeedsandDiseases.esp

    I have not encountered any errors in my playthrough so far but I am wondering if this is a known issue.

      RND is required for the RND patch.

      The problem is modders (this is NOT a criticism) have been mistaking which version of RND to develop patches for. It should be both or either and having one version that is active and one with an inactive mod author causes issues with several of the patches on the Nexus. I wish someone would make one definitive version and develop only for that, I have found patches for both and I'm not sure if people are aware of the 2 DIFFERENT versions when creating patches.

    Any reason you didn't ESLify the main (Disease Descriptions.esp) as well? xEDIT indicates it is OK to do that.

      Authors really shouldn't "ESLify" plugins that are already in the public domain because doing so will often change the formIDs, which isn't really a good thing for users wanting to update mid-game. I could provide an ESL version for users starting new games, though.

      That is true for mods that introduce new records, but mods that only modify existing data (as this one does) can be ESLified anytime.

      No idea, but it is mainly only making text changes so it shouldn't cause any issues unless Survival Mode is changing what the diseases are, which I doubt.

      Just to let you know there are new diseases in Survival mode and the old ones are more virulent

    Playing with Wintersun and as Pyerite follower (needs to be diseased all the time for goodies) this mod is ... SUPERB!
