Comments are of course welcome, however I spend the majority of my time on Discord vs Nexus.
If you have questions / comments / suggestions / etc. Discord is where I will likely be.

Hey! How come, you go with Ultra BethINI settings? As I am aware Ultra in Skyrim Launcher and in BethINI are not the same at all...Ultra is made for Screenarchery (maybe), High for stronger rigs and an adjusted Medium for normal ones (low for po-ta-toes) especially on heavier Modlists? Thanks for the explanation!

This mod list is close to perfection. Only one question: Its capped to 60fps, you dont recommend playing at more fps?

      Thank you for the comment.
I cap at 60 due to the physics doing wonky things if you go much higher (objects moving / flying around and the like)

ahh it seemed to me. Another question: i have some, very few, npc without hair (sven the bard of riverwood, uthgerd the unbroken, etc) is it intentional or a bug?

I'm giving Requiem a break and I have to say your series of mods looks really fun and interesting, and really suits my playstyle. I'm looking forward to playing with the whole lot!

I must say that your mods and your SkyRem guide look quite interesting. One of these days, I might just check it all out. I was a big Requiem fan back in the LE days for similar reasons, and from this mod's description and all of your other mod work, it seems like you have constructed something similar to a Requiem-esque RPG overhaul but in bite-sized chunks.

    Nice work.

    Hello!

I come here to say that I found "Embers and Fire Combo patch" to be incompatible with "EmbersXD", creating blocky light textures in all the braziers around Skyrim, or at least all the ones I came across.
I did not follow the guide thoughtfully, but most of the things I skipped were quest mods.
    Thanks for the guide!

If you follow step 14 part B 100% (fomods in particular) - it works perfectly. If you miss a single selection or mod... results are unpredictable.

I did follow it, although not 100% since I didn't install ENB Light (very taxing, at least when I last tried it). I guess that made the difference? The rest was as you wrote, I double-checked. Also, when I was searching for a fix for this, I asked Embers XD's author for help, and he suggested his mod be loaded after Inferno (just a quick heads up. Don't know if you checked this yourself).

Anyways, thanks for the good modlist and guide! Been really enjoying it!

ENB light is needed for the setup (not all the options, but the ones dealing with inferno, embers, etc)

It is listed on the patches page and directions as well.

As a heads-up, the link in the description is broken due to the https lacking a colon. I.e. it looks like this: https//stepmodifications.org/wiki/User:DrPharmDawg/SkyRem_Guide_Home

    Probably a stupid question:

What do the NPC and Skyrem Patches do exactly? There are a couple mods on the guide that I am (personally) not a huge fan of but are required for these patches.
If I don't install them will it entirely break the game, dark face bug etc?
Examples of mods I don't particularly want to include are Dragonbridge and Rae (the "R" in Grace) among others.

These are conflict resolution and consistency patches, to make sure all of the mods included work together as intended. Otherwise, you may get face-bugs due to multiple mods changing the NPC, even for different reasons (mod adds a weapon + mod changes hair + mod changes AI = need conflict res patch).

Hello. Sorry for the necro, but I thought this would be appropriate.
I am in the same situation as the user above, which means I left some mods out per my will. Simply didn't feel like they'd go right with what I am going for, but some of these mods are masters for the NPC and SkyRem Patches. Activating said patches would indicate there are missing masters, which is a no-no. Would there be any problem with me continuing the guide starting playing with these masters missing?
Thanks for the support, great guide!

Starting with missing masters = guaranteed CTDs.
two options: 1) remove SkyRem Patch references for mods you don’t want; 2) Build your own patch. As far as the NPC Patch - if you do not follow the guide and have all of the NPC tagged mods (in the guide order), you will likely have face-bugs.

And how do I remove said mods reference in SkyRem Patch? Tried using SSEEdit, but it won't let me load this plugin unless I have the masters installed. Do I install the masters and then remove the references?
Another thing, I followed the NPC's parts, but I didn't install the following mods: BUVARP, DivineDaedricCloaks, ESFCompanions, ImmersiveWeapons, LegacyOfTheDragonborn and TreasureHunt. So, NPC specific mods I installed, but the ones missing are additions and not facegen editing ones. What would you advise me to do? Can't create zPatch without these too patches!
