    NOTICE ABOUT TITLE SCREEN INFINITE LOADING ISSUE

    It has been determined that residual references to a removed redundant package on Aventus Aretino in other mods' USSEP compatibility patches is the cause for the recent spate of Infinite Loading Screen problems associated with the 4.1.8+ updates. Though related to the change, the root cause is an unresolved reference error in USSEP compatibility solutions in other mods. If you are familiar with xEdit usage, go to formID 14132 to get to Aventus Aretino, and remove the unresolved reference error in Aventus's AI package list subrecord in whatever mods have overrides on that form.
    I need a list of mods affected, so I can alert them to the change. Post mods I have not yet listed. So far, I have notified the following mods:

    * TK Children (FIXED)
    * RS Children (FIXED)
    * Simple Children (User-created ESPFE fix module linked in mod page's comments)
    * Killable Children (Toxic levels of brine detected in mod's comments forum and mod is distasteful to begin with, not returning to check)
    * Axe's RS Children Mod (FIXED)
    * Improved Adoptions (FIXED)
    * Immersive Weapon Integration (FIXED)

    We are aware that Skyrim VR for PC has been released. Bethesda has made it clear that the VR versions of the game do not support the use of mods. As a result, this mod will not be supported for anyone attempting to use it on a VR version of the game. You do so at your own risk and any incompatibilities, breakages, or other issues are entirely out of our control. Take note that even if Bethesda later changes their mind on this, VR equipment is too expensive to justify the purchase just for the sake of making sure the mod works with it. Also, the data files on the VR version are not identical so we cannot guarantee compatibility with any of it.

    Folks, don't post requests here for help with illegally jailbroken console systems. Your posts will be deleted without a response. If you attempt to repost the same question you will be reported to staff for it.

    For obvious reasons we only support legal copies of the game and the systems it's played on and cannot help you with your problems.

    Starting to get why other mod authors have a wall of stickies about stuff like this now, but:

    This mod thread is not a general troubleshooting area. We are here to provide support for the use of USSEP in your game, not to provide general support for every tangentially related thing in your games. We have been noticing lately that these types of posts coming here are leading people to the false conclusion that this patch is responsible for those problems and then they tell others elsewhere and all context is lost. This ends now.

    From now on, any post not having something directly to do with the USSEP itself is not permitted here. Go and use the general forums for your general troubleshooting. Nexus has plenty of people who frequent those areas, and so does Reddit. Please go and use those. There are also a number of mod support chat rooms on Discord you could use as well.

    Posts violating this will be locked, removed, and the posters possibly blocked as well.

    Hello. I was wondering if you are willing to include certain modder's resources with the patch? Specifically, I'd like to see an update script for slow effects, such as the one here. The required script is quite simple and I could just include it myself in my own mod, but seeing as everyone should use it for slow effects in all their mods, I think it would be a very nice resource to add to the patch. The script also requires making an item and it would just be a lot simpler if it existed in the patch instead of adding an item and a script for every mod that has a slow effect.

      As of my tests the tweak used in your link dont works (nor the script proposed in the reddit post linked in that mod page).

      I frankly haven't tried the fixes myself yet, but they've been recommended to me on multiple occasions, but I didn't really have a strong enough reason to implement them until I modified the Freeze spell from Ahzidal's Ring of Arcana in my last update to Awesome Artifacts. The Freeze spell has a 15 second slow effect and is only used to slow targets so it becomes really noticeable.

      I also just discovered that meh321 has fixed the issue using his .NET framework stuff in Bug Fixes SSE:

      Unfortunately it can't be used on XB1.

      There are mods on nexus are recommended/have a lot of endorsements but actually dont works. I have been worried about this frost slow affect long ago and spent a good afternoon testing the preceding  mods.
      .NET framework tweaks are viable options but in my case it slow startup of the game after some sessions.
      (dont know why anyone is reporting that)
      There are a lot of others serious game flaws but only Bethesda have the source to fix them in the game engine. Are they ready to that in the next release of November?

    I'm not fluent in English. Sorry if there is anything inconsistent in the writing. I'm using google translator.

    I would like to report a game bug and if it is possible to fix it with USSEP, it could help other players.

    It takes place at the mission where I must give Wujeeta the Potion to Cure Diseases in Riften. Once she asks for the potion, there is no option to give it to her, even if I already have the potion (and it wasn't a stolen item).

    I reloaded the game before starting the conversation with Wujeeta and activated USSEP, but the bug persisted.

    I tried to get the potion only after I accepted her mission, but I still didn't have the option to deliver the potion.

    I am a recent user and if this is not the right place to report a game bug to add to USSEP, please let me know so I can submit it to the right place for me to help with the bug reporting.

    I think I've found a ... weird bug. I went to fight Red Eagle, and a fox named Red Eagle ran up to me instead. Everything else about the area is fine. I looked it up in SSEEdit and USSEP has his race flagged as "FoxRace". No idea what would cause this. I'll be happy to provide pictures of SSEEdit or the dead fox, but I guess I have no way of proving I didn't edit this myself or something. Can someone perform a sanity check? Only other mods altering the NPC are AAE Ultimate Edition, which has him set back to a Draugr, and my Wrye bash patch which also has him set as a fox.

      Red Eagle is heavily templated, including race data, and the game likes to set it to FoxRace for some reason when it is. Bashed Patch is deciding to carry forward all the templating settings in subsequent modules (AAE Ultimate Edition probably undoes all the templating for its purposes) and carry forward the FoxRace assignment. So basically, I'm betting in your Bashed Patch you're getting the template settings from AAE and the FoxRace from USSEP... resulting in what you see. Not a bug with USSEP or AAE Ultimate Edition... but potentially with the Bashed Patcher.

      Delete the whole Red Eagle record override in Bashed Patch and see what happens... from a save made before you ever entered Rebel's Cairn.

      And if removing the record from the Bashed Patch does fix this, report the error to the Wrye Bash team so instances of this can be addressed if need be.

    In Snowveil Sanctum Catacombs, when adding the model ship to my inventory the trap will still trigger, even when I put something else on the pedestal to prevent the pressure plate from decompressing. I reloaded twice, once I dragged the ship back into the hallway before adding it to my inventory. In all cases, the kettle stayed firmly on the pedestal yet the trap triggered as soon as the ship went into my inventory, even though the ship was laying on the floor.

    Another note, the top of the pedestal seems to have a too large hit box. I couldn't hold a piece of ore over the pedestal, it would always get pushed toward me as if it ran into an object. I had to use a kettle and push it forcefully with my face for my Indiana Jones swap.

    There is a universal glitch on SSE that USSEP doesn't fix, when performing a cinematic kill as a werewolf there is about a 40% chance
    that you'll freeze for 5 seconds with your face in their crotch before mauling them to death.

    Could someone by chance when y'all get time to update USSEP could y'all please fix this.

      Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do since killcams are controlled at the engine level. Only Bethesda has engine level access.

    Hi. I was wondering if the 'Rescue from Fort Kastav' quest was ever meant to have been fixed. Cause I've encountered (again) the bug where after reporting to Legate Rikke, the soldiers and Hadvar stationed near the fort starts to move towards it until they're at the courtyard and starts fighting the Stormcloaks as I get near the fort. Disabling all or certain mods hasn't work. The only clue I can think of is that it's maybe cause of the quest 'Season Unending' when I surrendered some of the holds to the Stormcloaks which changed the Civil War quest abit, cause I remember one of my first playthroughs on SE, I went on the Civil War first and never did the 'Season Unending' quest and never encountered that odd bug. I hope this isn't an old question that's been answered before but I've looked everywhere and there are people encountering this bug but no other details or solutions.

    I entered the "Drunken Huntsman" in Whiterun at 7am. It's a tavern, isn't it?
    So first thing, I get 100 bounty, and Anoriath (the shopkeeper) tells me, I'm not supposed to be in the tavern.

    Please fix that.

    I am still getting the infinite loading bug when it comes to this mod. I'd rather not get rid of it, since the patches are incredible and integral to several of my other mods. Anyone know a fix?

      All but one mod that is related to the Aventus ILS bug is known to have a fix (and I'm not going back to check for the last one). Acquire the fixed version from them. If otherwise... it's something else you will have to diagnose on your own, as there is no other pervasive ILS bug that has manifested related to the USSEP.

      Sorry I should have been more specific. I thought that maybe RS Children was causing the issue but when I disabled the mods and tried to run, it still gives me the infinite loop. Disabled USSEP and bam, it loads up no problem. I love the fixes in this mod and several of my other mods are dependent on USSEP. I really have no idea why it's being caused, because I took a look in xEdit to see if Aventus was causing it, but he's all green and there are no conflicts. At least not with him. I'm guessing I have a unique problem?

      No, not unique, it just means you're likely using something else that affects the same AI routine. It's the only cause of an ILS with the patch. You're gonna need to load all your mods into xedit and check the Aventus Aretino NPC record to see which ones are screwing around with him.

    Hello, I'm curious about the change to Mazte and I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the changelogs. USSEP corrects the incorrect spelling of Matze to Mazte. But it also changes it's DamageMagickaRegen debuff to DamageStaminaRegen, which I'm curious about. 

    In Morrowind, Mazte had these effects: Fortify Strength 20 pts for 60 secs, Drain Willpower Drain Willpower 20 pts for 60 secs, Drain Intelligence Drain Intelligence 20 pts for 60 secs

    And according to its description:
    "...Also, because it is a local brew, it has some negative effects. It will drain and dull the drinker's wit and judgment."

    I know I am OCD/nitpicking but I am just wondering the reason behind this change from intelligence/magicka debuff to stamina debuff?
