About this mod

Think the Bethesda logo has no action? This is a clip I put together that uses the official Bethesda Skyrim Live Action Skyrim Trailer which replaces the Bethesda Logo with the trailer, and the logo for Skyrim: Special Edition.

Easy process, download instructions are below.

Permissions and credits
The clip starts at the Dragonborn's back, further down the trailer. (Small note under the video thumbnail.)

Think that the fade in and fade out are too long? There's a reason. For some reason, in the beginning, the game starts the video way too early, before it is shown on screen and cuts too early at the end, so the fade in/out are used more for buffers so that when the video does show, it is perfect.

There are two versions of this file.

The first version is the cutscene at 100% volume. (The video is an example.)
The second version is the cutscene at 50% volume.

I heard that the original version may be too loud, so feel free to experiment with this version.
However, both versions are on the same .zip folder. Choose which one you want.

Download Instructions:
1. Go to your Skyrim files' Data tab
  • Quickest way to do so:
a. Open Steam's Library
b. Go to Skyrim: SSE
c. Right click, go to Properties
d. Click Browse Local Files on the Local Files tab
2. Open the Videos File
3. Delete the existing "BGS_Logo" .bik file
4. Put the newly downloaded file as a replacement.
5. IMPORTANT: Change the name of the new file to "BGS_Logo" (no quotations.)

Make sure you rename the new .bik file to the same name as the original file, otherwise, this won't work.

The version's too long or too short? Rather have it start at another timepoint? If you would like me to make another version with a custom cut at a specific timepoint, let me know!

Uninstallation Instructions:
If you wish to revert to the Bethesda Logo, have no fear.
1. Simply delete the .bik file
2. Go on Steam Library to Skyrim: SSE on Steam
3. Right Click, go to Properties
4. Click Verify the Integrity of the game files on Local Files

Please tell me if the file isn't working properly!
