just wanted to give my thanks and say how much I love this mod.
it allows you to get so much more attached to your pets than simply buying them, and opens up so much roleplaying for hunter/druid style characters.
I really love how simple it is, no conflicts with animal mods, (I'm using Requiem and it works perfectly so far) and it's so simple to use. I'm so tired of every mod on the nexus trying to shove 500 features down your throat. Just keep it simple. <3
I find this really intriguing and useful mod but have few problems.
- I installed it while ago and assumed I ran into the taming way by myself. It did not happen. - Now trying the taming I am confused. I guess I failed the tame try but I get message "the animal is no longer interested of you". Still it attacks me so its clearly interested of me. - I tried to wait few hours and red the description now and seems you cannot try to tame same animal again? Once failed is always a fail huh?
when i sneak up to an animal and activates it, nothing happens. it's due to me being lvl 2 or there is some other way to instal instead of just paste in game files?
Every single animal i try to tame seems to just wander off! I'm level 14, i have been trying to tame at least a wolf for hours now, my character doesn't have much Speech skill so i tried to raise it with potions, but this damn wolf keeps walking away every single time, i can't belive around 60 in speech (even if it was rised to that level by a potion) doesn't work...
Would there be anyway to patch the creatures that are tamed to use the Tame the beasts of skyrim II lvling system? Im using mods thats unlevel the world and it made tamed animals a lot weaker vs tougher enemies. idk how or what to mod but i could try. Awesome mod!
Fixed it! I had the perk "Speak With Animals" from Ordinator. Because that perk uses activation to tame animals, (not while stealth) my game was trying to use the perk instead of the Simply Tame mod.
