Enables compatibility between Vokrii - Minimalistic Perks of Skyrim and Elemental Destruction Magic.
Initial release is a "merged" version which groups together certain perks such as Augmented Fire/Earth, Frost/Water, Shock/Wind.

This patch merges the perks from Elemental Destruction Magic into the Vokrii perk trees, and edits Vokrii perks that interact with Fire, Frost and Shock to also interact with Earth, Water, and Wind.
In the initial release, perks that enhance elements will be paired off as detailed below, ensuring compatibility with VR's perk limit. Also, Elemental Protection has been slightly altered to not be completely useless to characters not using shields.
I do plan on releasing a version that splits off each element's perks at some point, perhaps after a few iterations. I can also release a version that rolls back the change to Elemental Protection if requested.

Perks and Effects Modified:

  • Alteration 60 - Alter Self (2): Choose an attribute to raise by 50 points./, and two resistances to raise by 25%. (Fire/Earth, Frost/Water, Shock/Wind, Poison, Disease)
  • Block 50 - Elemental Protection: Blocking with a shield reduces elemental damage taken by 50%. Blocking without a shield reduces elemental damage by 25%. (Now includes Earth/Water/Wind)
  • Conjuration 70 - Elemental Potency: Atronach summoning spells now call higher level Potent Atronachs with improved elemental attacks. (now includes Earth/Water/Wind Potent Atronachs)
  • Conjuration 90 - Elemental Conflux: While near an allied atronach, gain a 20% bonus to matching elemental spells and effects, and 50 matching elemental damage to bound weapons. (now includes Earth/Water/Wind Atronachs, and corresponding elemental effects for bound equipment)
  • Destruction 30 - Augmented Flames (2): Fire and earth spells and effects are 20/40% more powerful.
  • Destruction 30 - Augmented Frost (2): Frost and water spells and effects are 20/40% more powerful.
  • Destruction 30 - Augmented Shock (2): Shock and wind spells and effects are 20/40% more powerful.
  • Destruction 60 - Hethoth's Disjunction: All opponents affected by a Destruction cloak get 25% weakness to that element. (now includes Earth/Wind/Water cloaks)
  • Destruction 70 - Scorched Earth: Fire spells burn their victims to cinders, leaving a pyre that ignites opponents, dealing extra damage for 10 seconds. Earth spells against low Health targets increase vulnerability to physical damage.
  • Destruction 70 - Winter's Grasp: Frost spells freeze targets below 20% Health in a block of ice for 5 seconds. Water spells cause low Health targets to start drowning.
  • Destruction 70 - Crackling Sphere: Shock spells have 15% chance to levitate targets for 2 seconds. Wind spells against critical Health targets have a higher chance of blowing away the victim.
  • Destruction 80 - Elemental Barrier: Destruction walls and cloaks deal 50% more damage, and the damage persists for 15 seconds. (now includes Earth/Water/Wind versions)
  • Destruction 80 - Elemental Shield: Destruction cloaks grant 50% resistance to their element. (now includes Earth/Water/Wind versions)
  • Destruction 90 - Mage's Fury: Deal double elemental damage to targets that are ignited, frozen, silenced, drowning, being crushed, or levitated.
  • Destruction 100 - Eye of the Storm: Two-handed Destruction spells are 30% more powerful, and you get a 40 damage elemental cloak during casting. (now includes Earth/Water/Wind and grants corresponding cloaks)
  • Heavy Armor 80 - Elemental Defense: Take 15% less elemental damage if wearing all Heavy Armor. (now mitigates Earth/Water/Wind damage)
  • Light Armor 90 - Ki Strike: Power attacks with two empty hands deal 60 points of random elemental damage. (now includes Earth/Water/Wind damage at random)
  • Sneak 40 - Shadowcaster: Elemental spells are twice as powerful against targets that are not detecting you. (now doubles Earth/Water/Wind damage)

All of the graphical assets are taken directly from their parent mods, and all of the new Spells, MagicEffects, Enchantment effects, etc. are mirrored as closely to their Vokrii counterparts as possible.

One minor script (vkr_setglobalrandom_script.pex) has been edited to increase the number of random effects possible for Ki Strike; it is included in the download and should (ideally) drop into the correct folder when installed via a mod manager, otherwise place it into the scripts folder manually.

Load Order

Load Elemental Destruction Magic first, then Vokrii - Minimalist Perks of Skyrim, then this patch. If you are seeing anomalies within the perk tree, it is most likely loading the .esp files in the incorrect order and over-writing incorrectly as a result.

Compatibility

Anything which edits the perks listed above, and conflicting perk overhauls in general, will cause issues. Anything that edits the assets from Elemental Destruction Magic will likely cause issues.
