I've always wanted to enchant some different combinations of circlets to match my rings and necklace for my characters, but found my choices lacking. The base game has no Gold and Sapphire option, no Silver and Ruby or Emerald, and so on. Out of all the 20 possible combinations of gems and metals, only half existed.

This morning I felt determined to complete my jewelry extension project and set to work figuring out just how the vanilla circlet meshes work. After tinkering around, I found a method for editing, and an honest day of mesh edits, balance planning, armor add-on and creation, and testing ensued. This is the result.

I'm putting this here now and I'll be around for the next few days if any bugs are found. Then on Wednesday it's off to the surgeon, so if I vanish for a bit, it's not because I'm ignoring you, it's because *ouch*.

Not sure if I'm blind, but I tried to go craft them at the blacksmith and they were not there. Also tried various vendors and they were also not there?? Where can I find them? ;3

Hi! Circlets aren't craftable in vanilla and I decided to keep things simple for now, so I placed the new circlets in leveled lists. You'll need to get lucky looting enemies and chests that have circlets.

If they're not showing up at all, you might want to open this in TESEdit and compare it with other mods in your load order that might touch the circlet leveled lists. WryeBash can help you with a bashed patch if it turns out there's a conflict.

hi. thanks for the speedy response! i don't have any mods that edit or modify circlets or anything like that. so far i have had zero luck in encountering any of them ! i tried opening them in CK and dropping them in my inventory via console + ids, and it seems they were also not found there lol. i only have one armor mod which is northgirl armor and that doesn't have a circlet or anything. any additional help would be appreciated, thanks again !!

Usually the IDs are different in game compared to CK. This is because CK only numbers things in accordance with how much data you loaded into the editor. If the circlets start with 01 in the editor, they'll have much higher starting hex code in game, where 01 is assigned to Update.esm.

If you use the help command in the console, it should bring up the IDs of circlets you're after. It helps to place the name, or part of the name, in quotes so the console searches for the words properly. For example:

      help "copper and emerald"

      will return something like this:

ARMO: (XX012CB) 'Copper and Emerald Circlet'

And that's the info that'll work with additem! In my case the XX was 0C, but the first part of your circlet IDs will probably be different.

      Hope this helps!

Good mod, always seemed so weird that Bethesda left so many combinations of materials out. I wonder what the rationale was? Thanks for rectifying that. I also really appreciate that they work with texture packs for circlets. They are looking gorgeous with the AEterna Circlets textures!

Circlets added by the mod don't fit female khajiit head. This bug occures with deafult circlets as well when you disable USSEP.
Circlets are probably set to match female argonian's head while on female khajiit's head by deafult. I'm not good at modding, this is just my guesswork.
