This mod really makes Whiterun have a breath of fresh air. However, I think in some areas they are a bit too much (I know that I can disable them, just stating my opinion). I disabled all the trees in the Dragonsreach area (they are in top of rocks, how can a tree grow on a rock?), all the trees around Talos statue (the statue should be the focus there, not the trees), and some other trees and bushes here and there. The sad part is I have to make this for every character I make, so in the end I don't know if I'm gonna keep it. There are some trees that are bugged (as like, the trunk is a 10x larger than it should, without any leafs or branches), and they are usually in top of another small tree (one example that I can remember is outside the city, in the city wall next to the river where there's a nirnroot close to the meadery). Also, this mod would greatly benefit from a Open cities + arthmoor oblivion gates patch.

Walk up to the trees, press ~ to open the console, click on one the trees branches (it's best to get into a position where there is nothing behind the part the of tree you click), type "disable" (without quotes, of course), then press Enter. BAM! Tree be gone. If you accidentally remove something you didn't want to get rid of, type "enable" in the console without clicking on anything else before. You'll have to redo this for each new character.

Disable tree function via the console does n't work when you have DynDOLOD mod with generated LODs

Would it work if I disable my dyndolod output, enable this mod, disable the trees I don't want with console, and then generate the lod again? Would the still have the disabled trees or not?

yes, I second that. i'd rather it be the standard texture everywhere, as it keeps whiterun in line with the hold textures. it's still a really great mod though

My solution to that is to install the Natural Grass Texture Floor mod from the oldrim section. That grass is more naturally colored and less obviously GREEN, and fits perfectly with the plants added around the Gildergreen.

i kept the green around the tree due to the trees magical nature. life takes root and grows around the gilder green. if you dont like it delete the refrence in xedit.

Beautifully done. This is definitely an essential mod for me. Only issue I'm having is some of the road textures seem to be mucked up a bit. I did have a mod called "real roads" and I turned that off and redeployed but it's still giving me the same issue. It's possible it's clashing with another texture mod but I can't see anything else that would affect the roads. Otherwise, excellent. Hopefully I can get it to work perfectly on a fresh save.

UPDATE: I turned off the "greener skyrim" and flora overhaul mods and it's perfect now!

This is by far one of my most favorite mods in Skyrim... yes there are a lot of mods I use... this just makes Whiterun a beautiful place to be. Vanilla Whiterun is hideous and unrealistic (No foliage at all?). This makes this place look much more rustic. Combined with Whiterun Forest Borealis and I am in heaven when coming to this region

The most beautiful Whiterun mod imho.
I am even using it along 'Simple Bigger Trees' and there seem no issues so far.
Simply great, might just add it to my core mods.
