Have you ever felt that Serana was weak and underpowered for a pure blooded vampire of a few thousand years?  Well I did, so I buffed her without straying too far from her original style or making her so powerful that she could kick the ebony warrior's butt.  She will level with the player up to 80 and feel more like an equal now.

I fixed the issue with her standing there and doing nothing when she runs out of magicka instead of switching to melee like shes supposed to (If you are using a combat overhaul put my mod below it).
Her life drain spells now cost a little magicka, so she actually can run out now.
She will start out with an ebony dagger instead of that crappy elven one now.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.
I noticed that my patches only worked with one version of my mod. So I had to make a second version of each patch. If You got your patch before 2:00 pm mountain standard time 6/2/2019, I suggest that you unninstall your current patch and download the one that belongs to whichever version of my mod you downloaded. Otherwise Serana's leveling script may not work.I apologize for the inconvenience.

Level 12-15:  Raise zombie, Ice spike and Serana Life drain T1(Drains 4 points of health per second from the target).

Level 16-23:  Reanimate corpse, Ice spike and Serana Life drain T2(Drains 8 points of health per second from the target).

Level 24-35:  Reanimate corpse, Ice spike, Lightning bolt and Serana Life drain T3(Drains 12 points of health and stamina per second from the target).

Level 36-47:  Revenant, Ice spike, Lightning bolt and Serana Life drain T4(Drains 16 points of health and stamina per second from the target).

Level 48-63:  Revenant, Ice Storm, Chain lightning and Serana Life drain T5(Drains 20 points of health magicka and stamina per second from the target).

Level 64 and higher:  Dread zombie, Icy spear, Chain lightning and Serana Life drain T6(Drains 24 points of health, magicka and stamina per second from the target).

Compatibility

This will not be compatible with any mods that alter Serana's leveling script or changes her drain spell.

Any mods that alter her appearance by using loose files should work.  If a mod uses a plugin to change her appearance it'll work as long as it doesn't change her actor record otherwise she may get blackface syndrome without a patch.  You can fix the blackface by putting the appearance mod lower in your load order, just be warned that this may return her perks and leveling script back to vanilla.

Recommended mods

Serana Dialogue Edit.  Overhaul Serana's dialogue.

Total Character Makeover.  Use this if you want her to have the same face as in the photos.

Superior Lore Friendly hair.  Use this if you want her to have the same hair as in the photos (Specifically the rough hair version).  This is an oldrim mod, but it still works fine in SSE.

Red Dog's Smaller Realistic Ice Spike and Ice Spear.  Stops the ice spike and icy spear spells from being comically huge.

Simple Balance And Perk Overhaul.  Balances the game out, removes exploits and changes up the perk trees a little.
