Hey guys. UPDATE ON ME....With a very heavy heart I am no longer able to do any more modding. I lost total vision in one eye as you may have known and am now loosing it in the other eye. I am at the point I have to use text to speech programs to read things. I HATE IT. I am very sorry for those who are looking forward to further work and updates but it is not possible any more. I had a blast making mods and it was a a very rewarding experience. I will continue to keep my mods available for use. As for the Mods I have PORTED, any further work and updates will have to be by the Original Author if they with to do so. If there is anyone who would like to take the reins of my work and continue to further what my Dream was for the Dark Skyrim Overhaul series, please contact me for further information. Hey everyone. I am going on vacation as of now for a few weeks so I won't be available for my mods. I am aware there are some issues with 3 of my mods causing problems and most of it is the scripts are conflicting with each other. Nothing really game breaking or causes crashes. Races, Magic and Birthstones of Tamriel have scripts that overlap each other and causes some spells and effects to not work properly or not at all. If you all come across any issues PLEASE put them in the Bugs section and I will start addressing them when I get back. And please be nice and logical. If you are rude, you will be ignored, deleted and possibly banned from my content. I choose not to deal with that and have no tolerance for that kind of stuff. I am very sorry for the inconvenience and please understand I an working very hard at leaning how the creation kit works and scripting works. I enjoy this and want to provide good solid content. Truly saddening to hear of the cross you've had to bear but I'm hopeful that you can be happy again and perhaps some day go back to making some of the best mods on the platform... My heart is with you and I wish you all the best <3
Compatibility Info: - Major clipping with a reworked Stormcloak Camp from Skyrim Reborn - Whiterun Hold at 13/-3 / 00009612 - Minor landscape seam with SeaPoint Settlement at -39/23 / 00006ecd
Ill try to create patches for both of them. Could be that changing load order already fixed the 2nd one as theres only a sign pointing to Seapoint, not the settlement itself.
Other than that every overhaul, player home or other landscape touching mod from the Nexus seems to be fully compatible, those locations were chosen wisely :) of course, 'every' isnt meant in a literal sense but my 800 mods / 500 plugins modlist mainly focuses on new locations and location overhauls so far so thats pretty good compatibility.

Thank you for letting me know about the conflicts. If you do make as patch, that would be great. Those pics are amazing. Looks really good in game. Hope you enjoy the mod. I will be doing some more work to the mod to fix some bugs and general improvements when I get back from vacation in a couple of weeks.
So i Love your Tamriel mods. Can you make a spell crafting mod simlar to how it was in the older games?
HMMM. That's odd. I'll have to look into that. I would love to have a spell making function like that of Oblivion. As far as a spell making mod, that is way beyond my modding experience. I don't know if the Skyrim engine will allow that kind of function. It would require a lot of scripting that I have no experience at. Maybe on down the line when I learn a whole lot more about how to script then maybe I will attempt it.
Giving it a try. I like the revised benefits for the Standing Stones, but very unsure about how useful 15 minute buffs would be unless they fit in my pockets, which ofc these don't. Would only be useful if clustered around right beside areas where you will have a fight, I think.
I Oblivion buffs only lasted about 120 sec which In my opinion would not be a benefit even when playing Oblivion. You can't do much of anything in 120 sec. That's why I extended then to 15 minutes for the Birthstones, 1 hour for the Heaven stones and 5 minutes for the Rune stones. I feel it's a good balance. Once I find a way to put restrictions such as they can only be used at night and once a day for rune stones, they will be better. If feel that longer buffs would be overpowered. You already get some good buffs from the Standing stones and shrines. This idea of this mod is to bring back Oblivion and Morrowind like content back and it will play better with all my mods and my mods in the making. Thank you for your feedback. Enjoy.
