I'm off to work on my Vanilla Gradients Waifu'd 2.0 version for the foreseeable future, so I'd thought I'd try and get this out real quick while I have a chance. To make this quick, I was shopping around for a re-texture of the Chitin Light Armor. I came across R97R's Chitin Armor HD (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53877), which seemed to me a really fun version of the CL texture that stuck very closely to the original Morrowind theme of the armor. My SSE build however did not agree. I tend to stick with a warm but washed out color palette, which the rich vibrancy and sharp contrast of the texture did not mesh well with. So I produced this. It is essentially R97R's textures desaturated and brightened, along with a bunch of other tweaks I can't quite remember. I tried to emphasize the coloring of the bone, so subtle it is not, with the feeling of wearing a strange, exotic armor from a foreign race with a rich history and culture. It's a recolor I thought came out well, however the base textures here are still based on the vanilla texture set (I believe), so if you are looking to completely try and escape the vanilla texture influence, there may be better choices.

There are optional downloads for the Morag Tong diffuse textures, which I have not touched as I thought they worked quite well. All textures have been upscaled in Waifu2x to both 2k-1k versions and 4k-2k versions, with BC7 (SSE) and DXT5 (Oldrim) versions available, with exception of the 2k-1k non-BC7 Morag Tong textures, which are identical to the original mods (as they were already 2k-1k). Male and female armor is supported.

*Note: There were some connection issues uploading the BC7 4k-2k main file and the DXT5 4k-2k MT file. Should any issues arise from these files, let me know in the comments. I will also test on my own, time permitting. At some point I will try to upload images of the Morag Tong set, just so you know what you are downloading.*
