Second here. Don't prefer Empire as ally in any way. Besides, Blades where dismissed and abandoned by the emperor in according with lore, so alliance with Stormcloacks would be more logical.
Though I normally side with the Stormcloaks in my latest gameplays. The Blades were only officially disbanded after many of them were systematically wiped out by the Thalmor which ignited the Great War. It was Titus Medes utter shock and anger at seeing the heads of many of the Empire's Blades roll out of the upturned cart. So, the Blades were no longer in a position to assist the Empire, if anything by the official dismissal of the Blades were they not completely wiped out and destroyed. Keep in mind they are still in hiding, but had they still been active they would have been overrun. The Blades are loyal to the Empire, not to Skyrim solely.
Kinda curious about this my self. I want to do a play though as a blade on the run that sides with the storm cloaks about feeling betrayed by the empire.
the blades are loyal to the Dragon blood, sure they've changed over time, specially after there was no more dragon blood to speak of, but with the reinstatement of them, and having a LDB, they would HAVE to side with the LDB, by duty. So if the LDB is a Stormcloak, so are the blades.
But if we did have real choices and Skyrim wasn't just Skyrim but Tamriel, I'd probably assemble the blades as my personal army and start demanding everyone became my subject (call it the Dragon Curse), than I'd destroy the Thalmor with the help of my dragon buddies (in secret from the blades), after the war was dealt with I'd kill all the blades so there was no more dragon hunting, unless they swore a new oath as my personal guard abandoning the anti-dragon quest of theirs. Suffice to say that Delphine would be in the gallows regardless...
Based on everyone's comments and the lore from Oblivion and all the events leading into and the end of Skyrim. There 100% should be an option. And to actually make it more lore friendly, if you did side with the Empire the blades should seek to kick out the Thalmor and restore the Dragonborn to Emperor. Or maybe the Dragonborn just wants to hunt dragons and rid Skyrim of the Thalmor and sides with Stormcloaks. The blades have no place in the Civil War besides siding with the decision of the Dragonborn. They are the Dragonborn's private army. The only relation the Blades have to the Empire is that they used to serve the Emperors who were of Dragon Blood, nothing more. It's the difference between the Secret service and the Army. So this mod actually makes no sense. Zero sense.
This was a nice idea, but it could have been done better.
Does anyone knows if this mod works with Sky Haven Temple Restored And Expanded (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10647) and if not is there a patch?
the description page of this mod says "This mod is not compatible with other mods that change Skyhaven temple location" but by location does it means, changing the location on the map, or changing something IN the Sky Haven cell?
This question is just about as intelligent as this mod. No they do not work together. They both edit Skyhaven Temple. And no it doesn't refer to moving the location of the temple.......... Really? Did you ask that? o.o?
Alright so kept asking npcs, finally got a quest(no actual markers though) whatever, just went by what npc said. Delivered first message(even though it never says I completed it in journal) then next person to visit was dead and cant do anything, cant talk to them, searching them provides nothing. Your mod is effed beyond belief. NPCs that are quest related need to be essential. It's like theres a great idea here, but you forgot to read a copy of Modding 101. Just take this mod away and burn it.
