Now you only need to purchase the children's room upgrade AFTER having entered the house. Buy the house, enter it and leave, go back to Avenicci and purchase the children's room upgrade and just that upgrade. Then you are all set to go.
Besides fixes and lots of idle markers for NPCs, some nice additions were made to the mod:
- Now up to six kids can be adopted (with Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions) - Single beds for children were replaced by bunk beds in the upper floor, saving a lot of space - The pool in the basement was turned into a sauna, with auto-undress and redress script, and NPCs will also use it - Staff Enchanter and Imbuing Chamber were added to the utility room near the Enchanting Table and Alchemist table
This Redux new version requires a new game, as the fixes also included the purchasable upgrades, and make sure to purchase all upgrades before entering the house, children beds included.
Having water sound loop every time I enter the pool in the basement. Only fix is reloading the game. Other than that, everything is working perfectly. Loved the secret tunnel to access the house from outside Whiterun.
For people who's having lighting issues and candles "floating" in the main entrance, it's most likely an issue with ELFX. The ELFX - NoBreezehome patch must be used, and it should load before any Breezehome mod. LOOT for some reason is placing the patch after Breezehome mods which causes lighting issues.
I don't check my order that the ELFX - NoBreezhome patch has been loaded after this mod and got issues floating candle like you said. now I manage the order. The issues are gone. Thank you for solution.

I'm using this mod, and Angi seems to sleep on the follower single bed in the basement instead of the masterbed even though I'm married to her. I have no idea what's the problem so I post on both pages. Any idea?
Edit : I tested angi with other house mods and she still doesn't sleep in the master bedroom. So it possibly the angi mod itself has some problems, not Breezehome.
Hm, there are conflicting instructions on how to correctly purchase the house... the mod description and the sticky by Nova says "Buy the house, enter it and leave, go back to Avenicci and purchase the children's room upgrade and just that upgrade", but the sticky by fgambler says "make sure to purchase all upgrades before entering the house, children beds included".
Check the date on fgambler's sticky. It's a year older than the most recent update. I've been using this mod for quite a while, you only need to purchase the children's bedroom, everything else is part of the base purchase. Technically, the children's bedroom is also in the original purchase but, if you don't purchase the children's bedroom, the game doesn't know that Breezehome has a children's bedroom. At least, that's the explanation I read many posts ago.
The auto-undresser is too aggressive. When my PC enters the sauna she is stripped of everything, including items that should remain in place. My PC has several items in her inventory that should not be removeable, and normally are not. But when she enters the sauna, she is stripped of these items. In other mods, such as "Bathing in Skyrim" there is an option in the MCM to disable removing items from specific armor slots but there is no such option here. Short of messing around with xEdit or the CK is there some way to fix this?
Hello, I'm currently using V2.5 and I have 6 kids in the house. I have no issues with my kids sleeping and playing around also my followers that staying there. Only my spouse is the problem because I never saw her sleep.
Is V3.1 reduced the kids bed to 4? Just to confirm. I don't understand.
Inside Breezehome use the bless home spell from Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions, and when telling wife to move, choose "my nice new house", do never choose "my house in Whiterun". That should fix it.
I'm facing an issue with my character in the sauna. When entering the sauna, the clothes are removed normally, but upon exiting, the clothes aren't automatically put back on.
On the other hand, with my follower, both functions work normally.
PS: I love this house mod, seriously! Thanks so much!

I would not recommend updating to version 3.x from 2.5 midsave
Please add to an existing sticky, or a new sticky, the Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions - Bless Home spell info.
I had forgotten what I had to do and it was driving me nuts that no child could be adopted as the dialogue would refer to having no space in my home.
On the other hand, with my follower, both functions work normally.
