    Remember this: you need to have Found Knowledge-book (craftable at Forge) in your inventory to see the recipes.
    Remember this too: to craft real Dragon Claws (functional keys), you will need to have completed their quests first. Exception: The Diamond Dragon Claw can be crafted before hopping on Odahviing because reasons.
    Maybe remember that Functional Skeleton Key can be crafted after Darkness Returns (Thieves Guild main quest) is completed. You can get it earlier if you can kill a few dremora in a new cave near Twilight Sepulcher.
    This one is a must-remember: if you decide to remove this mod, you cannot get rid of the Skeleton Key properly (if crafted). Dropping/selling the key will not be enough, it must be removed through Smelter or Anvil. So, first remove the key, then uninstall the mod.

    You have 2 different instructions on how to create the BOOK VOL 1. :

    * Get the book "Found Knowledge Vol. 1" to get started. You can craft it at a forge with **leather pieces**. There is no need to "read" it, however doing so gives one Smithing skill-up (only once).

    > This is incorrect for Vol. 1. 
    ... > No leather pieces required.
    ... > It will not appear at the FORGE.

    How to install:
    1. Click the download-button and so on.
    2. Install it. No need for new game in any case.
    3. To see the new craftable items, create the Found Knowledge Vol. 1 at a Smithing station or a Tanning Rack. It costs one gold and is weightless.


    > The 1 Gold Piece is indeed correct. If you have NO GOLD in your inventory, the option will not show.
    > I also found it seems to only work at the TANNING RACK and no where else. At least in my game.

    Other than that .. it all works fine.

      Whoopsies! Thanks for pointing that out. It used to need leather at the very beginning, and obviously I forgot to update the mod page after I changed the requirement. The description page is fix'd now.

    I've been looking for something that allowed me to replicate functional Dragon Claws for a while, I like how you implemented the added content requiring the book to be in your inventory, helps keep the crafting menu at the Forge organized when you don't need to craft misc items. As an added bonus, I also like that you included the Bug Jars, I also needed some way to replice those.

    Oh my god. THANK YOU FOR THIS!

    I use Wield Clutter and this makes it so much easier to make weapons for everyone in the world. 
    Combined with Immersive Speecraft SE and Faction Economy, the populace now has access to many strange weapons I made.

    Small request for another craftable replica of something.

    ..Two ingots to make a amethysts dragon claw? Shouldn't it use actual amethysts?

      To me it looks like the replica version takes two steel ingots. Real claw half needs two amethysts.
      Crafting requirements for replicas are lower because they have no use as a key and most people probably don't even craft them.

      But you're right, I could add one amethyst as material requirement for the replica as well.

      Also feedback regarding the material requirements for claws is very welcome. Mostly I just made something up by watching the looks of the claws (using original Skyrim SE textures and model). So if you have more lore friendly ideas for extra immersion, please tell them.

    not sure if this a bug or not but I can't seem to find the small dwemer plate metal in the crafting menu?

    thinking it should be in the crafting menu for the forge with the other dwemer stuff...

      Is that the only item you cannot find? I can see said item and everything else as intended in my list. I don't know if it's a mod conflict (which I doubt) or something else.

    I have several homes that have displays .. and now after I get the claws, I can craft the Dragon Claws so that they are in each of the homes. :)

    Any chance of the Paragon's and replica's or such of the Deadra Weapon's, for those of us that have, again, multiple homes with displays?

      I've been looking into the Paragon items and I believe I can add them. I just have to figure out a reasonable requirement to craft the real thing.
      Could you be more specific about the weapons? Do you mean unique stuff from quests like Mehrunes' Razor?

    Bug - ( I think? )

    Okay, I did the Golden Claw Quest and finished it.

    The Crafted ( original and/or replica ) do NOT work with Dragon Claw Stands.

    I have tried it on all three of the homes that have Claw Displays.

    Neither Goldenclaws are seen, as I get the error, " you lack the required item "

    I did some sleuthing and here is the problem.

    There are 2 claws in the CONSOLE COMMAND:

    * 39647 - Is the " master " Dragon Claw that goes to Riverwood Trader and it works in the afore mentioned displays. This one works with all the afore mentioned displays.

    * 999e7 - is the other one in the console command and is the one that you have created that is NOT the ( Replica ). This does NOT fit int he displays and is counted in inventory of the one you make that is NOT the ( Replica ).

    You need to update the mod to have the NON-REPLICA claws be the master ones:
    IE: Golden Dragon Claw - 39647

      Thank you for reporting this. It was intended decision to use the non-quest claw ID because I was afraid that having duplicate quest item may screw something up. I'll change the ID for next version so crafting it will be more useful (or worth it lol).
