About this mod

Adds portals in all Dwemer ruins in Skyrim and Solstheim, allowing you to travel to and from Blackreach. Optionally includes those added by Creation Club content.

If you're updating from version 2, be aware that this is a complete overhaul of the mod. It is now marked as a light plugin, and all the formIDs have changed, though I'm reasonably confident that nothing this mod does would affect an existing save if updated mid-playthrough. There are no scripts or items.

If you purchased Skyrim Anniversary Edition, you can use version 3.1 which has extra portals for the new content. The default main file is version 3, which does not affect any Creation Club content. 
(Note: the only requirements to use 3.1 are that you have Forgotten Seasons and Nchuanthumz: Dwarven Home installed. It'll even work if you downgrade the game to a pre-AE version, so long as you keep those two creations)


Here's a guide to where all the doors are in Blackreach: 
  • To the southeast, near the Raldbthar entrance, there are 6 or 7 portals on a large platform. These lead to: Aetherium Forge in Ruins of Bthalft, Avanchnzel, Kagrenzel, Mzulft, Irkngthand, Temple of Xrib in Sightless Pit, and (with version 3.1) Nchuanthumz: Dwarven Home.
  • To the southwest, near the Tower of Mzark, there are 3 or 4 portals by the bridge. These lead to: Bthardamz, Nchuand-Zel in Markarth, Arkngthamz, and (with version 3.1) Vardnknd from Forgotten Seasons.
  • To the northeast, near the Alftand entrance, there is one large portal. This leads to The Dwemer Hub of Solstheim, which has portals to Fahlbtharz, Kagrumez and Nchardak.

And here's where the doors are in the ruins themselves:
  • Aetherium Forge in Ruins of Bthalft - For the adventurous: on a small piece of land, across the lava from the forge.
  • Alftand - As in the vanilla game, use the mechanism at the end of the dungeon. 
  • Arkngthamz - In the large open space where you first speak to Katria. In an alcove, but obvious on the way out.
  • Avanchnzel - Outside, to the right as you exit the dungeon.
  • Bthardamz - Outside, on the highest platform. 
  • Fahlbtharz - When you first reach the large room with rotating gear platforms, the portal is to your right.
  • Irkngthand - Outside, in an alcove along the path which leads to the entrance.
  • Kagrenzel - At the bottom of the pit, beside the only exit.
  • Kagrumez - In the arena, to the right as you enter.
  • Mzinchaleft - As in the vanilla game, use the mechanism at the end of the dungeon.
  • Mzulft - Outside, to the right as you exit the dungeon.
  • Nchardak - In the great chamber where you activate the pumps, at the deepest point underwater.
  • Nchuand-Zel in Markarth - In the large cavern with falmer, down by the water.
  • Nchuanthumz: Dwarven Home - In the bathing area (version 3.1 only).
  • Raldbthar - As in the vanilla game, use the mechanism at the end of the dungeon.
  • Sightless Pit - By the lift at the end of the dark area, Temple of Xrib. (Note: this is a vanilla Skyrim dungeon. Sunder & Wraithguard only adds a new area, conveniently close to my portal).
  • Tower of Mzark - As in the vanilla game, Tower of Mzark is an exit from Blackreach.
  • Vardnknd - In the large room at the end of the first area, Runoff Caverns (version 3.1 only).
