I've never used the Wintersun mod, I just happened upon this when searching for interesting Lovecraft related mods (because reasons) & found the description so amusing that I downloaded & endorsed anyway
While I like the mod and found the FAQ funny, my English degree would be worthless if I didn't go around telling random people on the internet that they're wrong. Lovecraft didn't come up with the word "Eldritch." It just means spooky or sinister, and has a very precise and consistent spelling. It's not a word someone just made up because it sounded cool.
