Regarding the issue that the lines in the menu are misplaced, I own a 720p monitor and can't test it in other resolutions, it works fine on my end. It's mandatory to do it on bigger resolutions to fix it, so I dont see it possible for me to fix it at the moment, sorry guys
Unfortunately this mod causes favorites menu items to become misaligned. They are sometimes difficult to click with the cursor. If this issue bothers you, I recommend using Favorite Things "Novice" or "Adept" version. SkyUI - Better Favorite Menu is another option, although the menu item text is a bit squished. <3
I'd be happy to help you compile a version that works for 1080p+ resolutions. I've got all the tools and I'm working on my first mod so I could use the experience using SKSE scripts. My monitor is 1080p but my GPU lets me use VSR (Virtual Super Resolution) to trick it into rendering up to 4k. Alternatively, people can use a controller and there's no issue.
Have you gotten around to looking into this? I would really like to use this and endorse it, but I just can't. It bothers me too much. Just hoping you haven't forgotten about it. I hope I don't sound like I'm rushing you. Thanks!
I wasn't given the source code for this mod to be able to recompile it on the new skse64 version. I did also talk to ElSopa about another, similar mod to look at the LE source code a while back, but I never heard back from that author either about using their code. With that mod the source code was available but lacked permission to modify.
Eventually I will release a proper longer menu with various themes. A perfect version is available in the adventurer theme mod but it uses the paper reskin.
any chance at to get best of both mods? aka have this as is and also the rest of the area for the Categorized Favorites Menu to be there?
i know duplicates gonna be a f*#@ to deal with maybe add 2 ignore list one for each and we can add as usual items, spells etc to either

See here how to fix the error messages, by pretending you're on version 5.2 of SkyUI. You're compiling with 4.1 source, this is also the reason why the lines are missplaced, but not for you. A widescreen support edit has to be forwarded.
You do realise that because the lines are misplaced, actually selecting stuff in Favorites is a problem? Makes the mod useless if you have to go back to the Inventory window.
That removes just the error message but doesn't fix the misalignment of text with cursor (to be able to click you need to be with the mouse higher then the item you want select). And if for you is working properly, it doesn't mean that is working properly for everyone + instead of giving a workaround for the error, you could search where the issue is that gives that error and fix it. It will make you a better modder + it will show that you care about your mods and ppl who use them and give feedback. Thank you.

I finally figured out how to get things in the favorites menu and grouped. I like this... Endorsed. But I am curious if turning off version checking is a clean fix?
