Wonderful mod, thanks — the background music is fine, but the main menu music just gets on my nerves.
But does anyone have any idea why this mod upsets the latest version of SSE Engine fixes? When I uninstall this mod engine fixes runs fine, but with this mod installed I get CTD at the main menu.
I'm not sure but have you tried to mess around with the load order Idk. What skyrim engine fixes does I've never used it, but this mod just replaces the sound file with a blank one.
Thanks for your response. Yes, it makes no sense. Your mod is a simple sound file replacer, it shouldn't conflict with anything and was working perfectly alongside everything else. Then I updated the other mod and boom instant ctd with this installed. I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong with your mod, I was rather hoping that someone might know what the problem actually was and suggest a plan of action to get around it.
I encountered the same problem, not sure why but have some ideas. I tried converting the audio in this mod with skyrim audio convertor, but it kept giving error messages when no other music would. I would guess the music got corrupted somehow and it causes SSE Engine Fixes to automatically crash the game because it thinks it's a larger issue than it is. I was able to make my own silent track with audacity and get that to work by converting it, so not sure what the issue is with this mod since I can't convert it to check.
Got the same issue, @Vindicabo could you share file that you made? UPDATE: nvm, I managed to achieve same effect by editing skyrim.ini, found it under antoher mod's post, just add an empty line: sMainMenuMusic= under [General] section
I have been using this mod for a while now, but suddenly my game crashes as soon as the main menu is shown with it enabled. I have no clue why this started to happen.
Hi ! Great mod when you're modding and testing and thanks for that ; but can you make an up wich remove also the "DUM DUM DUM" at the first begining of launch ?
SOOOOO sick of hearing those idiots yelling, especially when I load up the game then leave for a leak break, and come back to OooOOOOAHHHH!!!! OooOOOOAHHHH!!! shaking the house and making the neighbors think "What's wrong with that fool?". Endorsed. :)
I did & still do like the music, but as a modder & mod creator. I have spent sometimes as much as 3 months straight just going in & out of the main menu loading save games over & over & quiting, checking results, then going back into the creation kit & fixing my mod.
I could only listen to the "DUNN DUNN.. DUNN DUNN. Ohh ahh heh.. ohh ahh heh. so many times especially when you are aggravated with the game or your modding results or trying to fix something.

1. Open up Skyrim.ini (Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/Skyrim.ini)
2. Add the following under the [General] Section:
sMainMenuMusic=
S/O BjornTjockPals for the tip. I just thought I'd make a separate comment to emphasize this tip.

under [General] sectionI'm an old player too, but I really like the music, it's so epic!
Well... no everyone shares the same taste...
