I'm a little late but i discovered your doors in a wabbajack modlist and they're soo beautiful! Your are so talented, amazing how such little thing can make so much difference. Thank you for sharing your talent with us :))
This is a beautiful door! It's always great to see something so lovingly crafted in detail. I downloaded the rest of your door and gate series as well. They all look fantastic. Will endorse ASAP. Thank you for sharing.
Its really cool to hear how you progressed with 3d modeling, especially as someone who is just starting. If you don't mind me asking, what program are you using? I am required to use 3DS Max 2020 for school, but I want to import/export .nif files so I can fulfill my dream of modding Skyrim, and I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks! And amazing texture work! Can't wait to see it in-game :)
Thanks, I am using Blender. I can't help you with 3DS Max unfortunately. If you never created a 3D model before I recommend to start with a tutorial and then try to create your own simple model. Don't start with something too complex.
Max Nif Plugin allows you to import/export NIF files into 3ds Max. I haven't tried this with the 2020 edition of 3ds Max, but in theory it should work. Edit: Actually, maybe it does not work with newer versions. There are newer plugins like Nif Plugin for 3ds Max 2015-2018 that could possibly work with the 2020 version, but that's untested, so I don't know.
NifSkope is also a useful tool for quick viewing and editing of NIF files. For example, you can use it to easily change the assigned texture(s) of a mesh.
You kind of think your Skyrim is finally good (after months of modding and never been able to finish the main quest) and then a talented modder come with something like this ! As Michael Corleone said : "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!". Thanks a lot
Truly magnificent, and i don't even care about a little inconsistency between wood type from this mod and the rest of my riften, which is skyland theme. I think i'll try now your newest mod - whiterun gate. Thank you.
Saw that your Windhelm door is looking nice there..you do great stuff. If I were to chance a request, perhaps the doors in High Hrothgar could get some love? No matter what texture overhauls I use for that place, the doors always look bad. A mesh replacement would be very welcome.
Love mods like these. It does get old seeing the same models everywhere, variety gives the world a more authentic feel. Good job hype1, I'll def be downloading this when I come back to Skyrim :)

Follow the Niftools Max Importer Guide and Niftools Max Exporter Guide.
