@ kraiea I got the LOOT error about dragonborn.esm asking for a compatibility patch... just today with the same load order about these two mods. With SE, not AE. There is no .esp for JS Dragon Claws - Amethyst Patch -- at least since 11 Aug. 2020 -- to correct as per indicated last year below. LOTD Patches show conflicts in meshes/dlc2/clutter/dlc2leftclawamethyst.nif and dlc2rightclawamethyst.nif . I hid them, no more LOOT error. Is that what you meant to say?
I've had the patch installed for a while now, but LOOT still gives me the error. LOTD recently updated their patch fomod, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Download JS Dragon Claws - Amethyst Patch, rename it to JS Dragon Claws SE (as the original mod) and merge. The warning will disappear. All this, of course, assuming you're using MO2. I can't say for Vortex.
I would guess at some point it the patch had an ESP and no longer does. The only way (AFAIK) that loot Tracks these things is via ESP. If you have the patch downloaded, ignore the warning.
Yeah, I guess I'll have to ignore the warning because I have done the same thing renaming the patch as the main mod name, and it's still giving me the annoying message.
I have MO2 as well, the message doesn't go away!
What I don't understand is that LOOT only sorts ESP and ESP flagged as ESL, and ESM, the two mods have no ESP attached to them, so that is why LOOT even bringing this up. I guess that is a matter in itself.
rename the amethyst patch to "JS Dragon Claws SE" just like what katarsi said THEN drag and drop the esp file into your mod category(i use vortex so idk about urs and how it works) it will then tell you to create it as a mod since its a single file in which u press create mod anyway refresh your LOOT and it should remove the patch requirement text.
I just loaded these great patches, but I still have a message in LOOT stating there is supposed to be a patch in this mod for the Dragonborn.esm plugin.
do you know about this, because there is no patch for Dragonborn, and can you fix it or explain the reasoning of this message.
could you please make this for the original skyrim? I know the textures work in the original but the messies do not. and i don't know how to do it myself

These patches are not intended, nor needed, for the new JS Dragon Claws AE (Anniversary Edition) mod.

Been using it since it has a LOTD patch.

Is your patch compatible with Wyrmstooth 1.19?
