About this mod

A small package of enchantments aimed at virtuous crusaders, vampire hunters, and others who fight evil. Port of the original mod by Xunderxdosedx.

INTRODUCTION:
This mod adds seven paladin-themed, mostly sun-based enchantments that are perfect for any type of holy character that is fighting evil creatures. Whether your character be a virtuous crusader, a follower of Meridia, a Vigilant of Stendarr, a Dawnguard member, or anything in-between. The seven enchantments are found on the arms and armor of an ancient paladin that fell in battle and was devoured by Vulthuryol, the Hidden Dragon of Blackreach. Slay the dragon, search the body, and claim your seven prizes.

THE ENCHANTMENTS:


Champion's Aura

  • Functions as a sun-cloak, similar to Stendarr's Aura that deals 5pts of non-elemental damage to the living and 15 to the undead.
  • When the player is hit, there is a chance for an explosion of sun fire which deals 50pts of damage to enemies within range, 150pts to the undead.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Armor.
  • Can be applied to any item that could receive a Fortify Health Enchantment.
  • Automatically disables when sneaking, swimming, brawling, or sparring with Vilkas.

Champion's Resolve
  • Grants 30% resistance to magic, poison, and disease.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Boots.
  • Can be applied to any armor that could receive a Resist Fire enchantment.

Champion's Might
  • Weapon strikes do an additional 15pts of damage.
  • Ward spells absorb 50% of the magic cast at them.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Gauntlets.
  • Can be applied to any item that could receive a Fortify One-Handed enchantment

Champion's Power
  • Similar to Konahrik- if you are low on health will cast a custom healing spell, a high-powered Guardian Circle, a Fire Cloak, and a Flaming Familiar which engage nearby enemies and explode.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Helmet.
  • Can be applied to any item that could receive a Fortify Restoration enchantment.

Champion's Resistance
  • Resist 10% physical damage from the undead, lycanthropes, and Daedra.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Ring
  • Can be applied to any item that could receive a Fortify Health enchantment.

Champion's Ward

  • When blocking, casts a Sun Cloak that deals the same damage as Champion's Aura (5pts living, 15pts undead) with alternate visual effects.
  • When blocking, also casts an invisible ward spell similar to Spellbreaker.
  • Bashing repels undead and banishes Daedra.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Shield.
  • Can be applied to any item that could receive a Fortify Block Enchantment.
Champion's Justice
  • Weapon strikes do 10pts of Sun damage, 30pts to undead, lycanthropes, and Daedra.
  • Chance to trigger Dawnbreaker's Repel Undead effect.
  • Weapon counts as silver, dealing slightly more damage to undead and lycanthropes.
  • Placed on the Ancient Paladin Sword
  • Can be applied to any weapon.

This is a port of Xunderxdosedx's New Day Rising - Enchantments of the Paladins. I am not the original author and can't really provide support, but I have tested the mod and everything is working as intended. I will leave the Comments section open regardless.

The mod has been re-saved in the SSE CK to Form 44 and has been coverted to be an ESP-FE/ESPLite/ ESP flagged as an ESL.
