    MAJOR UPDATE brings us to VERSION 1.06

    You like DARKER NIGHTS?  Maybe you love CLIMATES OF TAMRIEL'S NIGHT LEVEL 3? 

    Great!  Make CLARALUX LIGHTS brighter in-game!


    SCYTHE42 joins me on the 'team' and adds his incredible coding mojo.  

    Major improvements to the scripts and functionality.

    Dramatic increase in stability for lower-end computers (or users with far too many mods already).

    Change the LIGHT LEVELS of all EXTERIOR LIGHTS in-game to suit your tastes.  Completely compatible with all WEATHER MODS.

    Adds organic VARIANCE for LIGHTS and GLOWS.  No more "same size, same brightness lights".  Also optional and user-configurable.

    Adds 1000s of new LIGHTS and FIXTURES - all optional and user-configurable.

    We've also added optional DRAGONBORN and DAWNGUARD fixtures for your enjoyment.

    The CLARALUX TESTING FACILITY now allows you to make all your real-time/in-game adjustments SAFELY and immediately.  No more walking in and out.

    If you have a previous v.9x version installed in your game, please GO HERE and READ IT. Updating is simple, but it'd be best if we remove all the old instances first

    Is this mod still relevant ? I mean, it's been forever since last update and also forever since I last modded/played Skyrim and I keep seeing older great mods (like this one) that become obsolete and get replaced by newer ones, like for exemple Wildcat and Smilodon (Smilodon is exactly Wildcat but newer and better). So is this one still relevant or is there a new mod that replaced this one ?

    Love this mod but...too many floating npcs and no matter how high my ugrids or how low the spawn setting ios they just keep on floating. :(

      There's no real fix as it's an game engine problem. Having beefier hardware may help, but it can still happen when there's a lot going on in a cell.

    Has anyone found a fix for this mod causing bandit leaders to never spawn? Like the mod, but don't want to have to jump through hoops to get bounty quests done.

    WARZONES : Console Commands

    There are TONS of console commands within WARZONES for your configuration joy…

    Without MCM, and while we work on a new menu system, you’ll still be able to configure WARZONES via console command.

    Default settings for WARZONES : CIVIL UNREST are:
    SPAWNCOUNT = Low (1 per spawn point)
    CREATURES = On (1 per spawn point)
    CIVIL WAR = Active
    BATTLE SELECT WZs : All On
    Random Encounters = On
    Random Skirmishes = On
    Random Warzones = On
    Random Ambushes = On
    Random Encounter Odds = 1%
    Cooldown = 24 game hours

    Majorly relevant ones are listed here… but if you have any questions – especially about how to disable a WZ, don’t hesitate to ask.



    The proper formatting for entering console commands is, for instance:

    set WZONESSPAWNCOUNT to 2



    WZonesSpawnCount

    Sets Number of Actors Spawned per Spawn Point (1=Low, 2=High, 3=Madhouse). Please note increased spawns will impact performance. You’ve been warned.

    WZonesMonsters

    Sets Number of Monsters Added to Warzones (0 = Off)

    WZonesRandomEncounterOdds

    Set the odds of a Random Encounter Spawning. Percentage Chance (1 = Default)

    WZonesRandomEncounters

    Random SKIRMISHES : Add randomly enabled Civil War Skirmishes. Toggles Random Encounters ON/OFF

    WZonesRandomAmbush:

    Random AMBUSHES : Add randomly enabled region-specific Ambush points. Toggles Random Ambushes ON/OFF

    WZonesRandomWZs

    Random WARZONES : Add large, randomly enabled battles. Toggles Random Warzones ON/OFF (0=off, 1= on)

    WZonesDebugMSG

    Warzones adds messages to your Papyrus log to help with debugging. MSG Level: 0 = Off 1 = High 2 = High/Med 3 = Most 4 = All”)

    WZonesPerformanceMode

    Potentially increases performance by reducing the amount of WZ NPCs. Effectively making SPAWNCOUNT of 1 equal to .5, a SPAWNCOUNT of 2 equal to 1.5 and a SPAWNCOUNT of 3 equal to 2.5.

    WZonesCooldown

    Sets the amount of time before a named Battle Select WZ may potentially respawn in game-hours. Best to leave this as is unless you want the cooldown to be longer.

      None of these commands are working for me, tired of having open cities attacked constantly by bandits and the like don't know if that falls under ambush or random encounters

    Hello I was wondering is there a way to get rid or lessen the completely random fire explosions that instantly kill me every time I’m in a War Zone? Thanks

      You likely have "mines" enabled. To disable them open the console and type:

      set wza_addtowz_landmines to 0
      <return>
      Close console

      Keep in mind WZ also has 'fanatics' (suicide bombers).
