That shouldn't be happening. The house does not have a key set to it, so you won't find it anywhere. Maybe other mod is conflicting? Do you have any mods that change how doors/player homes/houses work? That hasn't happened in any of the vanilla or modded tests I did and it's the first report. It might be specific to your load order.
Try moving it lower in your load order or disabling any mods that might be conflicting.
A quick solution could be using the "unlock command" in the console. Open the console, select the door, type "unlock" and press enter.
Thanks for the comment :) There are no "traditional" NPCs in the house included with this mod. The NPCs you see in the pictures are there to show that the house is navmeshed and compatible with game AI.
Although, please note that the planters where you can plant ingredients have an "NPC component". They are in an isolated cell only available through console commands and won't affect performance in any level. Every house with a planter, modded or vanilla has to have these NPCs to work properly.

I love and appreciate that you have kept things simple. I have tried quite a few other house mods in the past, but the majority of them (if not all) add too many things making the houses either overpowered or complicated and cluttered.

Hi, is this compatible with Cutting Room Floor? CRF adds a whole town (Heljarchen) around the Nightgate Inn area, but that happened to where I wanted to put the house, if possible. :)

I like the idea a lot! Overcluttered player homes are nice to look at in screenshots but not very immersive to play in. Extra props for ESL version. I'll endorse after the timer ends.

I never used player home mods because most of them are overkill... and I knew I wasn't the only one thinking that way :p
