Trade and barter hasn't been updated in a long time, but Bruma's most recent update is far newer than this patch. Does the patch require updating, or are the affected things unchanged in recent versions of Bruma?
Why not? AFK mods is Arthmoor's site, nothing wrong downloading it from there. This reminds me of people that complain on STEAM about the Epic Game Store.
The Keld-Nar patch here doesn't do anything. The record in it is identical to what is in Trade and Barter. It's possible that Trade and Barter added the record for compatibility sake, making this patch obsolete. Just letting you guys know!
This mod is incompatible with nmm and adds an annoying error message that you always have to click away on startup... sadly the mod author never bothered to warn about this incompatibility anywhere, even though he knows about it. Makes me wonder if he got some kind of grudge, since I've never encountered a mod on here that is incompatible with nmm in a way like this in the first place, let alone a patches mod.
But... the other guy was correct. NMM is an outdated mod manager that had its support officially ceased years ago, the only version that was still available was maintained by a small group of people in an unofficial capacity. So, yeah, switching to a more recent mod manager would likely solve your error - and whoever else's error since this comment is over a year old and you've likely either already solved the issue or moved on.
Also, I just wanted to highlight this line: "Makes me wonder if he got some kind of grudge" Are you implying that the mod author hates nmm so much that they put in a feature that would annoy users until they switched? Who do you think they are, Fore?
This comment is over a year old, but it deserves to be said: "Stop using NMM. It was officially retired years ago, and was replaced by Vortex. If you don't like Vortex, MO2 is also an alternative. If you have a problem with NMM and the installation of a mod, it's most likely caused by NMM, not a singular mod. There's a reason Vortex was rebuilt from the ground-up rather than update nexus mod manager."
Generally you are right about switching away from nmm (the techincal reasons). In my case there are reason for why I don't switch. I have personally never had any noteable problems with nmm except for this mod, so there is no specific need for me to switch. Switching appears to be a huge effort with me already having a functional modded game, not to mention the effort of getting accustomed with a new program. I believe it's hard to argue with these points.
Now, even more importantly: All I was asking was to add *one* simple line of warning. You know, being considerate and so forth. Your harsh opposition to the mountaineous effort of adding one line of text only shows your immaturity. Well done.
Also, there is no "being correct" on this case. There is only being considerate or being greatly triggered by a most simple request, to the degree that you need to put me in my place after one year has passed.
Getting a funky error with this mod, it says Error registering this mod: Trade and Barter - Patches - Trade and Barter - Patches 1.0.1 Error: Version number '1.0.1' is invalid. Line 1, position 16.
Yes I had the same problem using NMM. Had to do extract the ESP file patches and re archive them and manually add to NMM. Worked OK. By the way NMM ver 65.11 now works happily with ESPLite's. I now have over 269 active plugins.

Edit: Oh you mean Nexus mod manager. Yeah switch to MO2. Doing so will instantly solve 95% of your modding frustrations.
