Update - 11/7/2016
The new patch today changed the format of the sound files. An updated file is now available in the downloads section, along with updated optional files, including an all-in-one file to also quieten death hounds and huskies from the Dawnguard DLC.
Update - 11/20/2016
Version 2.0 released today makes the dogs bark completely silent instead of just lowering the volume. Uninstall old versions first for best results. Overwrite if asked. Includes all DLC death hounds and huskies.
Update - 12/22/2016
Version 3.0 released today. Stops all barking animations completely, thus being more immersive. Old versions should be uninstalled to improve performance, but it shouldn't make a significant difference if you choose not to.
Stupid Dog!
Ever bring Meeko home and instantly regret it due to the incessant barking?! Vigilance keeping you up at night? Just want the random dogs you encounter to be quiet? Then this is the mod for you!
This mod makes the dogs of Skyrim, including huskies from Dawnguard, stop barking completely. It doesn't affect any other sound or animations they use. Just the non-stop barking that keeps the neighborhood up all night.
Installation
Easy mode method is to use NMM. For manual install, just extract the .rar file into the Skyrim SE "Data" folder. To uninstall, just delete the files you extracted or, of course, use NMM. If updating from an old version, uninstall old version in NMM first, for best performance. Overwrite files if it asks.
There shouldn't be any bugs with this mod, but if you encounter one, post and I'll try to help if I can. =)
Shouldn't conflict with any mod unless they alter the animation files for dogs or huskies.
