    How prevalent is the script included with this? Is it a heavy burden on a game? Just curious.

      No it's pretty lightweight. It's just a 5-10 line script that runs when you activate a stack.

    It's wonderful and a great immersive alternative to the other dynamic mods that leave an "empty" woodpile behind after you take the wood. Endorsed.

    I'd rather go with the no script version, but I'm not sure whether you still need the main file or not.

      Yea need both, load the patch after the main file.

      Not through this mod but you can place one with console commands then move it with jaxonz positioner.

      Thanks, enjoy. I'm open to the idea but I don't want to publish something that already exists unless I can make a significant improvement. Is there something wrong with the way Dynamic Things does it?

    Oh this is wonderful, and such a clean mod. I'll echo a request for other things such as Taproots - Dynamic Things is great, but all I ever used it for is the firewood piles for Campfire and stuff. It's way too heavy a mod for just that - this replaces it beautifully, though it'd be nice if it did a handful of other things like taproots, maybe crates with random low-value loot, etc.
