I didn't like the 11 Ebony Ingots added with this mod. took me forever to realize this was the mod that was doing it. Thankfully all I had to do was go into SSEEdit and delete one line.    Deleting Worldspaces in SSEEdit got rid of the ingots while keeping the armor in the game

I'd suggest adding different enchantments more suited for a heavy armor playstyle (two handed damage, damage resistance, ect).

if you simply want some heavy armor it will do the jib, hiwever im disappointed by the fact that its simply reskinned armor, id go with the sithis armour mod instead, which is all around better, that being said, im sure if you just want something basic to play with this would be great

Looks more like ebony armor with Isengard symbol.

I'm using a bunch NPC mods that change their looks, including Arnbjorn. Won't giving him the armor count as changing his records and give him the "black face" glitch? Is there a version that doesn't edit any NPC in anyway?

Kinda late, but just load your NPC appearance mods after ones like this. Quest mods and armor/weapon adding mods should be loaded before to avoid black face.

I like the design of your outfits, however, I'd rather not replace everyone's armor, but, rather, only some. Would it be possible to create another file that adds the armor to the game without replacing the vanilla armor? I use a mod called Simple NPC Outfit Manager (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1521) so I could replace whoever's armor I want to individually change. Thanks.

I like the idea a lot. Two suggestions:

Change up a few pieces. I like it being based on Ebony, but what if the helmet were from a different set? Recolor it to match, but maybe it had horns or something to make it a bit different? Just seems like a good opportunity to take 2 different sets of armor and make them match color-wise for a new take with vanilla meshes.

Also maybe look into equipping it on some of the NPCs in the Dark Brotherhood?

Great Idea. Perhaps I'll add diff helmets to go along with the set as separate optional files. Reason I went closed face for the initial armor is because it looks more stealthy and bad ass. But I'll consider doing some of those things for sure. Nothing wrong with more Dark Brotherhood content.

Wouldn't that torpedo the set bonus?

I'm pretty sure set bonuses are armor types. I would still make it a heavy helmet, so it shouldn't change it.

I took the standard cloth DB hood and swapped it out in the esp and I think it looks pretty cool—kind of like a battlemage. (The fact that you can wear a circlet with it is a nice bonus too, since the armor isn't upgradable.) I posted a picture.

Whoops. Didn't notice I just replied to a 2 year old post.

Thank yooou! The colours are beautiful and now Arnbjorn makes sense <3
Any chance you could edit the female chestplate to match the Practical Female Armors SE?

Love the mod, one question though. Is it possible that you can make it compatible with the Immersive Sounds - Compendium mod? While wearing this armor my footsteps sound like I'm wearing light armor. Thanks.
