No support for SMIM at the moment, sorry guys. Checked the SMIM textures and I can see me driving me nuts to adapt my textures for that. I wasn't planning to do the smelter actually, I was uninspired and just grabbed it and did it fast. SMIM uses way too much textures for my level of patience, not to mention each one has it's own individual normal map. It would mean too much work and I know I wouldn't enjoy it, and I do these things only because I have fun. And as a sidenote, and this is more personal, I try to do make my game as performance friendly as possible, and I don't use the SMIM smelter, actually just use a few must-have options, a 4K version of my texture for SMIM would mean an absurd size that would cause stuttering on some systems, not to mention, I would never use it for me. My only "support" is to tell you to go to the SMIM folder and delete the "smelter" textures and meshes (or rename just in case). Thanks!
Hey if anyone use High Ploy Project(HPP),then you also have to remove meshes/furniture/smeltermarker.nif in this mod fold I already tested it's useless only remove the nif in SMIM.
I really want to use this smelter since I think it's the most realistic looking one I've found so far, however the 3D coal pile from High Ploy Project requires the SMIM mesh for the smelter. I really wish I could use both at the same time.
your textures are unique along with the sharpening bench and the anvil wow thanks for the help to make your texture work it was driving me crazy hug !!!!!
FYI - In addition to SMIM and HPP, ENB Light by 4109 also has a conflicting meshes/furniture/smeltermarker.nif file. In case anyone is searching for it.
Heads up guys. If you use SMIM and/or High Poly Project disable smeltermarker.nif for both mods. However, the smeltermarker.nif from Extra Smooth Mesh Mod works just fine with these textures. With the HPP and SMIM meshes disabled, normal texture replacers will work for the coal pile. I'm using ClearanceClarence's 8K coalpile retexture. Looks much better than SMIM with overlapping Noble textures.
Thanks! Maybe the coal mesh its part of the smelter SMIM mesh, if thats the case I dont think its possible to have both Maybe you could try some standalone coal retexture, I saw some good ones
Great mod! But I will remain with SMIM till SMIM and/or High Ploy Project patches comes. Can You just add coal form SMIM or High Ploy Project, or make a small patch? Thanks in advance!
Pretty much everyone who plays Skyrim on PC uses SMIM. You should at least make a 2k version, or put in the effort anyways. It's a great texture, but I'm not willing to have a blocky smelter mesh just to use it. Maybe you care, but probably not. Maybe I shouldn't have even bothered posting this.
What you mean? If its not being displayed maybe it's because you could be using SMIM, if thats the case, you can move the SMIM meshes of this object to other folder while using this.

I have blue bricks even though your mod is loaded last.
unfortunately, i cannot find a way to add SMIM coal along with your smelter textures. could there be a patch, to at least use the SMIM coal by itself?
