Which mod is the dispell spell from? It might be using keywords to dispell other spells with that keywords, making Arkey think you summoned undead(since it's keyworded as undead summoning).
Wintersun is a great mod and I've been using it for years, but here's a little feed back:
I play werewolf (growl) with arkay. I have no idea why but while clearing Fort Greymoor (outside) something happened that angered Arkay and I lost like 100 favor.
Maybe it's some interaction with Obis - perhaps one of the bandits had a different flag - and no I didn't kill the old lady inside!
Another incident: Arkay 'cheat death' works on werewof form. What happens is that I lost the controls to howl or shift form. Being stuck I had to wait for the transformation to run out.
None of those pet peeves are going to make me stop playing this combo since the pros outweigh the cons. Just avoiding the perk from Growl where feeding dramaticaly improves the WF timer. lol
#1 ESSENTIAL MOD! I'm wondering if anyone has ever (or could) make a patch for using with iNeeds and/or Imperious so that you are worshipping Namira when you eat from a corpse? If you have these other mods you aren't getting the script to eat with the ring so it doesn't count towards your service.
Used this for years, but now on a new game, as soon as I choose a deity, I get the "Your deity has abandoned you" message.
And I do mean "as soon as." The screen pops up to allow me to choose a deity, I pick one, and IMMEDIATELY get the message that my deity has abandoned me. Anyone else have this, and have a fix for it?
(Yes, I know I can just disable apostacy--that's not a fix, just a brute force workaround.)
Heyo! Love the mod, I chose Arkay but I now wanna choose a different god. Do I have to get my favor to 0 in order to change? Whenever I activate another shrine in the Temple of the Devines in Solitude I only get their blessing. Any other way to change my deity?
You should be able to change which God you're worshipping at any time. There may be something else, potentially a mod conflict(?), that is affecting your ability to do so. Try visiting another shrine at another location?
So, I started using this recently, had no trouble using it, it works pretty much as advertised. I started a new character, accidentally became a worshipper of Magnus by activating his Shrine too quickly and now whenever I mine, smith, sharpen, temper, enchant or even mix potions, I'm getting a boost to belief. I don't know why that would be the case, but the game seems to be treating it as though I'm praying (which I'm not) and while it ordinarily wouldn't bother me, I'm trying to actively let the belief run out so I can go back to being a temporary atheist. Annoyingly, it's still happening even after changing deity, but I'm honestly not sure if that's because of the deities in question (thus far, Stendarr and Kynaereth) or because some switch has gotten stuck, so to speak. For the record, I'm also using Vokrii, Morningstar, Evenstar, Odin and LOTD, though they're all properly patched to the best of my knowledge. Any help?
This was the issue I was about to report, except that I read Doors of Oblivion before choosing "Survival Mode" (dunno if that's the cause) and adhering to Hermaeus Mora.
I'm not sure there's a direct link between the two, but yes, every time I mine, sit in a chair or at a table (Hevnoraak's throne, for instance) or do any of the things you mention, I get "Omniscience".
Personally, I'm really digging it, but I see how it could be fully distracting.
I'm using only Ghosts of the Tribunal and Gallows Hall patches.
Okay, so I actually just fixed it. Not sure if it'll work for you, but it turns out that praying at the Shrine of your chosen deity (that is by activating it and gaining the Shrine's blessing) should get it to stop. Might work by praying at any Shrine, mind you, but yeah. Apparently, it's something to do with the game getting its wires crossed and treating any event that forces you into 3rd-person (mining, smithing, etc.) as being the same as you actively meditating in prayer. All I had to do was go to the nearest Shrine (in this case, Mehrunes Dagon in the Dragonborn Gallery), pray and it stopped. Now all that remains is to wander around, 'forgetting' to pray and let the clock run down, so to speak. If you're trying to get rid of a deity yourself, I'd suggest going for one of the Daedra, as their favour drains faster than the Divines.
Yeah, I was just about to report this too. Activating anything, including mining or mixing potions or even just sitting in a chair, seems to be registering as praying. I've got over 100% favor with Magnus now, and I haven't even visited the college or enchanted a single thing yet lol. I haven't tried switching deities to see if it fixes anything. I'm not using any of the mods you listed except Odin, though.
i just noticed that malacath's blessing is detrimental, is there a particular reason or can i delete the flag on ssedit safely? I know i know it's a curse! but that color annoys me anway hahah
