    Less liney rain texture
    Edited the rolling fog texture to look more smooth and work better at night
    Added a extra rain texture to the fomod to replace new texture if using ENB's to look better
    Rain during the new thunder is more natural (longer between bursts and randomized distance more)
    New thunders Nifs have been edited to have a tinge of purple instead of being more blue
    Edited rain to properly use the correct default ids based on particles so if you want to use another texture for rain like true storms or real rain ect theres less to make the mods compatible.   • Climates Of Tamriel undergoes large update

    Hello again my friends.

    I hope you have all had a wonderful holidays.  I discovered chocolate wine for the first time and it is lethal, but I digress.  Climates Of Tamriel v5.4SE has just been released and it is the biggest update to the mod since its release back in 2012. I've had a TODO wish list for some time, so now was the time to do it.  I wont keep you much longer so I'll bullet point some of the new features for v5.4.


    Weathers and lighting completely redone to correct some long standing issues
    Real 3D sheet and fork lightning that creates some proper violent thunderstorms
    New thunder and lightning strike sounds
    Introduced interior rain sounds
    Adjustable in-game volume sliders for lightning strikes and interior rain...

  • Climates of Tamriel SE Released

    Hello again my friends.

    It gives me great pleasure to release Climates Of Tamriel SE to fellow Nexus and CoT users. Having been away from modding for awhile it was fun jumping back into the new 64bit Creation Kit. CoT needed some work to bring it up to date with the new engine features but I very happy with the results and I hope you are too.

    CoT SE now utilizes the excellent volumetric rays feature as well as a new lens flare system which appears in Fallout 4 but not the vanilla Skyrim SE. The new rain and snow occlusion feature is also very cool which means no more rain or snow passing through roofs.

    There will be a further version update of the mod within the next week which will incorporate some of the feedback from the community.
