Remade the load order in SSEdit Textures: Normal textures have been added to the right texture name. Updated every texture that was missing an alpha map. Deleted and cleansed all the texture_n files Meshes: Fixed a couple object bounds. Mannequins: All rotations are on a .0001 rotation so they do not move.
My Changes.. Lowered a few trees and bushes by the bridge into the ground. Adjusted the lighting in the armory area.
DynDOLOD told me to ditch this mod maybe because it is half buried and tree mods stick their trees there without consideration for it. The deck has an invisible elevation in it on the way to the back deck tables that you have to jump up to walk on. So on and so forth, the inside is real nice and I just markfordelete the caretakers. Disable the goofy trees growing through the house and deck. but the deck seems to weird to have and I can do better. oh,... and grass and crap growing in the deck and wrong places I can't get rid of. The place looks sloppy and weird on the outside like the caretaker died. All the NPCs laugh at me using it so I stole their sweetrolls and deleted Skyfall Estate, so there. I am free of it.
This is a fairly nice mod, unfortunately it hasn't been updated going on 8 years now and there are quite a few bugs. One being the mannequins still move around, a lot. The other which I find disconcerting is the 2 male caretakers, outside of sweeping do nothing else and I have been attacked a few times by people who wish me harm. Since this does no longer seem to be an attended mod I will put the estate back up for sale.
Is there any chance at all that a patch can be created so JK's Whiterun Outskirts + Ryn's Whiterun City Limits + Whiterun Has Walls can be used with Skyfall.... PLLEEEAASSEE?
The above three work flawlessly, but Skyfall unfortunately is covered b the walls... the mod author of Whiterun Has Walls; J3w3ls, has indicated that he would 'could consider supporting that if it exists'.
Skyfall is great, I fixed my mannequin problem Skyrim wide with the appropriate mannequin management mods - but - After putting up with it for ages - there is heaps of papyrus log activity from this mod. 104 of the weapon racks were not assigned weapon rack activators and these all generate a line in papyrus, similarly there is an issue with poisons of some sort - I simply patched out the poison script and created activators for the weapon racks. I also patched the children's beds to be more follower beds as I don't adopt kids.
Can you please upload your patch? I wold try Skyfall again.
Btw there is another small bug, but it produces errors in DynDOLOD 3: Error in SkyfallEstate.esp [REFR:1B3960B0] (places aaaSkyfallBertForSaleSign "For Sale" [ACTI:1B3960AF] in GRUP Cell Persistent Children of [CELL:00000D74] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C]) at 6,-4) Property NotEnoughCash has a unresolved FormID-Reference, it should be in my opinion: aaaSkyfallSaleNoCash [MESG:063960AA]
unfortunately this mod has quite a lot of problems with unresolved form IDs, at least on of which prevents DynDOLOD from generating its files. i assume that those unrecognized IDs are from LE and they changed in SSE but it was never fixed in the mod. Aside from the DynDOLOD issue there will probably also be some lights not working (due to the switches referencing unrecognized IDs). i'm not that well versed in modding anymore and relearning everything, nha not feeling like it, so i'll just delete those refs and hope for the best, won't bring back the lights, but otherwise it might still work at least and won't cause problems with other mods.
Some stuff is probably easily fixable like the aaSkyfallReEquipAllTrigger to reequip your gear after going into the pool, ...guess we'll see
i'll try that one, but haven't even started a new game yet, so will take quite some time to see if it causes problems or not^^. Thanks, would probably have just deleted it.
Published a revamp of Skyfall Estate. This version fixes some script properties and activators -> no DynDOLOD errors. Also - less likely to produce CTDs.
Sadly calling for the creator's help on this issue is currently useless: "As of Fall 2016, I've no longer had the time to create new mods or offer my support for existing ones, I want to think everyone for your support and encouragement over the years! The modding community has my full permission for any updates on my existing mods as long as credit is given for the original work. I may return to modding sometime in the future but as of now it simply isn't possible.Thank you again for your support! "
I can share mine if you DM me. I don't want to post it on nexsus because it will not work for everybody and I don't want to deal with pissed off folks. No guarantee it will work for you cuz everyones Skyrim is different, but might be worth a try?
Not become king of England? Sorry, my sense of humor took over. I had the same issue in 1 game, but not in others, when I used Skyfall before and never found a fix.
So I downloaded the mod and toured the entire home. Loved it. Then I opened the door from the basement back to Skyfall Estate and instant crash to desktop. I am not taking a chance on spending countless hours putting inventory in this home and not being able to access it or constant ctd.
I used Elysium Estate in my previous playthrough and loved it. Never had a single problem with that mod.
That's too bad. I used this mod for quite some time before putting Elysium into my load order. I was just bored but I was considering putting it back with all the follower rooms it has.
I had same problem , but it was front door that crashed, I fixed it by making my swap file for windows larger It was ok at first but after loading house up with people or more items it started crashing
I've started having the same problem. I changed Skyfall to being a late loader in Vortex and that seems to have solved the problem, at least so far. Never mind. Designating it a late loader only worked once.
I finally got Skyfall working for me. In my case it turned out to be a conflict with another mod that was causing the problem (NPC Pubes Forever, skyrimspecialedition/mods/55167). Don't know why it caused a problem but when I unistalled it Skryfall started working again.
