Changelogs
Version 3.0
Veteran set have a chance to spawn with leveled Vigilants now, but rarer than the Enforcer set.
All robed Vigilants now equip Enforcer gauntlets and boots.
Version 2.4
Both versions are now ESL-flagged, my apologize for taking so long.
Version 2.3
Robed Vigilants will equip Enforcer boots now, I still don't let them equip Enforcer gauntlets because of clipping.
Fixed an oversight where armored Vigilants would equip Veteran boots instead of Enforcer version.
Version 2.2
I've decided to make it so that the robed Vigilants will retain their default outfit completely in default version, this means they will no longer equip the Vigil Enforcer gauntlets and boots. The reason for this change is because I've noticed very bad clipping with the female version of Enforcer gauntlets, this is an unfortunate change since the male version works well. If you have a suggestion on this issue I would love to hear about it.
Version 2.1a
Fixed an oversight on helmet spawn.
Version 2.1
Krev the Skinner (and possibly other Silver Hand boss) now wear the Vigil Silver Hand set.
Vigilants spawn with Enforcer and Corrupted armor now have 100% chance to wear Vigil Gauntlets, I made this change because non-gauntlets Vigilants spawn with helmet look very out of place. Robed Vigilants still have the 50% gauntlets chance.
Version 2.0
There are now 2 versions of this mod: Normal and Basic, Normal version will give vigilants 50% chance to wear between the armor and the robe, whereas Basic is just like 1.0 which all vigilant will wear the armor set instead of the robe.
Gauntlets and helmet now have 50% to spawn just like vanilla Vigilant outfit.
Tyranus will wear full set of Veteran set while Carcette and Tolan will wear the sashed version of Veteran set.
XB1/PS4 version also available on Bethesda.net!
Vigil Enforcer Armor Set is Creation Club content that adds four sets of armor based on the Vigilants of Stendarr, they are nice looking armors but the only person who gets to wear them is either the player or the dead Vigilants from the quest. This mod will integrate these new armors to Vigilant NPCs in order to add more diversity in a vanilla friendly way, I've taken much consideration to ensure it would be integrated similar to how Bethesda would have intended.
Features: - Vigilants now have 50% chance to wear the armor set as suggested by the content's author: robed Vigilants will equip Enforcer boots and gauntlets while armored Vigilants have 50% chance to wear helmet. A version that completely replace the robe with armor is also available. - Gives Carcette and Tolen the sashed version of Veteran set without helmet to show their important role. - Moric Sidrey will wear the stashed version of Corrupted armor. Charmed Vigilant from Dawnguard have 50% chance to wear the Corrupted set to show their corruption. - Tyranus from The House of Horrors quest will wear a full Veteran set; Tyranus strike me as a veteran warrior as he works alone. - Krev The Skinner from Companion questline will wear a full Vigil Silver Hand set; this gives an interesting indication that he could be an ex-Vigilant or stole it from one. I don't give this set to Silver Hand members because the armor belongs to a Vigilant who joined the Silver Hand, it shouldn't be taken literally as The Silver Hand armor, the lore from both the content and vanilla never suggested a connection between the two factions. - Similar to vanilla distribution, not all unique variants are distributed to leveled NPCs. If you prefer every items from the CC to be distributed then Velgath version in optional file will provide this option. Requirement: Creation Club's Vigil Enforcer Armor Set.
How to install: Simply put the esp into your Skyrim\Data folder, allow files to be overwritten if asked.
Compatibility: - Not compatible with mods that also change Vigilants outfit. - Mods that add new Vigilant NPCs using vanilla outfit template will also benefit from the outfit change from this mod.
Credits: Maty743 for a quality Creation Club content. Velgath for feedback and expanded version.
