Great mod but I encounter 2 issues while using this mod.I'm using this mod together with unoficial patch and unoficial modders patch.
Issue 1 - In my time of need quest: Upon entering to Witherun, the alikir guards speak to a missing whiterun guard. If you sneak the guards to avoid the conversation, enter dragonreach and go back to the town entrance the missing guard is there and the conversation occurs normally. Issue 2 - Aela silver blade quests. After becoming werewolf. Aela gives quest to hunt silver blades, but the dialog to request another job shows duplicate, so you can have 2 quests at the same time.
Could someone point me in the right direction of what I need to review to fix the conflict?
In two playthroughs, I have observed that the chest on top of the dresser in the Harbinger's room is not safe storage but the other containers in the room are just fine. The weapons in the display cases respawn (as will other items in the Harbinger's quarters) but any items you put in there do not despawn.
Edit: by the way, this is my favorite Jorrvaskr mod! Simple, immersive, helpful additions without going overboard.
If it is NoResetZone [ECZN:000F90B1] then my guess is that this item will be overwritten by many other mods like SOS, ELE, ICAIO, ELFX and more which have the default "empty" value and empty, afaik, overwrites set values.
I don't know about you, Oracus0, but adding elements having to do with the inhabitants' research seems sensible. Items left over from Valerica in Castle Volkihar, stuff giving ominous reminders of the Rapelord as well as lore from the growing madness of the Falmer (who also wish the sun to be extinguished); Dwemer research when one Dawnguard artificer comes, books on trolls after another. Things reflecting the people, in other words.
I love the idea of this mod and thought everything implemented really well with the vanilla game style, however with this mod installed, my game crashed every 1-15 minutes of game play. I only had about 30 mods installed and slowly ruled out all of them as being the cause. It was this one. I use LOOT and have the most recent version of the game installed. I don't know what it is that caused this mod to have such a bad reaction with my game--my FPS wasn't dropping or anything--but the game would just freeze at any given time. Super unfortunate. :(
I don't know... I haven't experienced that problem. Could be a new issue since the Creation Club update. I cleaned the mod with SSEEdit. If you want to, try that version.
Whoa.. I was unaware that the Harbinger's room was not safe storage. It baffles me that these Bethesda oversights exist. They spend time to make a script to change the Harbinger's bed object from Bed (Owned) to Bed.. but storage and cell item resetting remains.
Thank you for the mod. I especially enjoyed your take on how the Harbinger claims he's researched for years, with little to actually prove his claims.
Thank you! I believe the bed, like the other containers in the room, is owned by the Harbinger faction, so when you become the Harbinger, you own the bed (as well as everything else in the room). I left the end table by the bed alone, since that is where Kodlak's Journal and a piece of Wuuthrad spawn, but it is now safe because the encounter zone is set to "no reset."

Lots of potential here
