Man, even after deleting the .tri files the beards still explode when viewed from various angles. :/

hey, did you ever find a fix for this? I've tried a clean install, deleting .tri files, even porting the LE version myself. seems broke for some of us and not for others... I'd love to know why.

Not sure if this helps you or not, but I thought I'd share. I'm having the same issue with the beards artifacting anytime I go into combat. I deleted the .tri files, but it didn’t work. However, after experimenting, I noticed that not all the beards do that. I have the RaceMenu mod, which tells me what beard I’m using when I choose each beard, and if I use 01DwemerBeardBasic, or 02DweamerBeardBasicMoustache, the beards work fine. These are the beards that look like full beards, but with braids and beads at the bottom, and the moustache option has beads on the moustache. If I use the full beaded beard options, either the one with a second or third row of beads, I get the beards explosion. My point is, you can still wear the options with beads on the bottom of the beard and the moustache, and it may work without exploding; so not a total loss.

go to: (your vortex mods folder) -> skyrimse -> dwarvene.a.r.xxx -> meshes -> actors -> character -> character assets -> beard -> dwarven; and delete all .tri files

then go to: (folder where your skyrim & skse loaders are) -> data -> meshes -> actors -> character -> character assets -> beard -> dwarven; and delete all .tri files there

after that run vortex, deploy your mods, and when it asks you about dwemer beards mod file changes, choose "save(delete)" option and run the game

there shouldnt be any beard glitches after that
ps. i know this is years too late but thought why not xD

Wish there was a patch for Vector Plexus's High Poly Head.

Yes hello, these beards are exploding, literally reaching to Asgard. Not even Cathedral optimizer can save this.

Too bad, the dwemer beards look amazing, but there is something wrong with the model as it has polycons attached to some animation string, causing it to expand all over the place.

    Hello
Just to let you know the larger beards with the Kahjit like ring on is see through at the edges of it and for some reason causes flickering. It seems to be just the Khajit beard and not the more normal dwarven one at the beginning of the facial hair slider. Please do a patch or update for this and then you will receive my endorsement.
    Thanks :)

Any idea why the beards explode when in combat? I mean, I get that it's part of the PC's face contorting, but it seems like this issue should've been smoothed out when this was uploaded.

Edit: Thanks for the feedback, it works perfectly now.

Deleting the .tri files entirely fixed the problem for me.

Any idea why the beads in these beards are showing up in-game as being semi-transparent?

Some races at some angles do have a bit of transaperency. I'll look into the reasons, but i doubt i'll be able to fix it.

Is there any easy way for me to add these beards to characters from Wheels of Lull, Dwemertech, Forgotten City, etc?

Absolutely. If you're familiar with CK and you can call working with it "an easy way" that is
