Armor of the Night
Like the look of the Nightinagle armor but don't wan't to go through the Thieves Guild Questline to get it since it is not in your head cannon? Want to add your own custom enchantments at the level and rating you want? Look no further! This mod adds two craftable and enchantable sets of leather armor that use the Nightingale Armor mesh and now a third pre-enchanted set.

Nightshade Armor
This is for all intents and purposes just basic leather armor. There are no additional enchantments, abilities or stat/armor bonuses. The only difference is the look and the slightly modified crafting and tempering recipes. Craftable at level one.

Nightstalker Armor
This armor is essentially the Nightingale Armor but without the enchantments. The armor rating is the same as the Nightingale Armor, and likewise carries the survival mode "Warm" keyword. It is craftable at level six or higher and is fully enchantable like any other crafted armor. The crafting and tempering recipes were formulated to take into account the survival mode keyword and additional armor ratings.

Nightbringer Armor
This craftable armor is the Nightstalker set ramped up to eleven. The set as a whole has higher armor, but this set is pre-enchanted with enchantments geared towards the ninja archer. In addition to the increased materials for crafting, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • The gauntlets convey a 25% speed and stagger chance bonus to bows.
    • Crafting requires character level 20, Smithing of 40, Enchanting of 40, and the first Critical Shot perk.
    • Tempering requires character level 29, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the first Critical Shot perk.
  • The boots provide muffling.
    • Crafting requires character level 22, Smithing of 40, Enchanting of 40, and the Muffle spell.
    • Tempering requires character level 31, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the Muffle spell.
  • The helmet provides Khajit Night Vision.
    • Crafting requires character level 24, Smithing of 40, Enchanting of 40, and the Clairvoyance spell.
    • Tempering requires character level 33, Smithing of 60, enchanting of 60, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the Clairvoyance spell.
  • The chest piece confers a 25% bonus to critical hit chance.
    • Crafting requires character level 27, Smithing of 40, Enchanting of 40, and the Invisibility spell.
    • Tempering requires character level 36, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the Invisibility spell.

The set as a whole conveys Invisibility (you must be wearing all 4 pieces to get this bonus), but there is a price for power. Each armor piece also adds a 15 point penalty to Health, Stamina, and Magicka for a total of 60 points for each stat.

Nightdragon Armor
This set is the Nightbringer armor only designed to survive against dragons. The stats are the same but each piece adds a %10 fire resistance. It also has higher level and skill requirements.

  • The gauntlets convey a 25% speed and stagger chance bonus to bows and %10 Fire Resistance.
    • Crafting requires character level 40, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, and the first Critical Shot perk.
    • Tempering requires character level 49, Smithing of 90, Enchanting of 90, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the first Critical Shot perk.
  • The boots provide muffling.
    • Crafting requires character level 42, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, and the Muffle spell.
    • Tempering requires character level 51, Smithing of 90, Enchantingn of 90, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the Muffle spell.
  • The helmet provides Khajit Night Vision.
    • Crafting requires character level 44, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, and the Clairvoyance spell.
    • Tempering requires character level 53, Smithing of 90, enchanting of 90, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the Clairvoyance spell.
  • The chest piece confers a 25% bonus to critical hit chance.
    • Crafting requires character level 47, Smithing of 60, Enchanting of 60, and the Invisibility spell.
    • Tempering requires character level 56, Smithing of 90, Enchanting of 90, Arcane Blacksmith perk, and the Invisibility spell.

I tried to impose enough penalties and restrictions to keep this from being a God Armor. Invisibility can still be broken with noisy casting and physically toughing an NPC will break it as well. The armor is not disenchantable nor can you sell it. I also used enchantments that were geared towards archers instead of melee characters since I felt archers could use a little love. I would greatly appreciate constructive feedback on this armor.

Enjoy and have fun sneaking into the castle.
