Description:

Bored to try to walk as same pace at NPCs ? To be able to only walk slowly or run as fast as hell drive you crazy ? Use mouse wheel to adjust your speed on the fly and more ! You are jealous of controller user who can adjust their speed easily ? This mod is the solution

Scrolling Speed Continued is intended for the whom who use a keyboard and want to be able to control their speed as you can do with a gamepad controller and more !

Why using this mod?

• You can walk or run as same pace as NPCs without changing their speed
• Horse support, You can adjust your horse speed and walk slowly like a lonely cowboy in the sunset ! (must be enabled through the MCM)
• Smoother walking to running transition which looks natural
• It mimics analog controller which is far more handy than how Bethesda handled controls by keyboard
• Speed steps increment are configurable through the MCM so it is compatible with every mods which edit actor speed
• Every controls are configurable through the MCM
  

How ?

• Adjust your speed by using mouse wheel from walking slowly to running as your max speed. A modifier key (Left Shift by default, can be changed) is used to let you zoom with the mouse wheel when you want.
• Invert modifier lets you use mouse wheel as usual, pressing modifier key let you adjust your speed.
• Restore Sprint mode : When you stop sprinting your speed is restored, so if you jog, your speed will decrease from sprinting to running fast to jog.
• Toggle mode : Let you toggle between run or walk (you must set "always run" enable, "caps lock" by default) , when you press your walk/run key, your running speed is memorized, you can change your walking speed as will, when you release your walk/run key, you running speed is restored.
• Classic Mode : Reduce Speed step to 4 instead of 8, transition between speed steps are less smooth but more reactive, work nice with Toggle mode.
  

Important notice !

• When you start the game after installing this mod, you will not be able to zoom / unzoom until you enable the mod (see explanation below)
• Read Compatibility section
  

As default camera zoom function can not be disabled through script, I had to resort to Interface Hard Coded Key Tweaks by crazy-g to tweak the controlmap.txt and set Zoom function to another keys (PageUp & PageDown).
You can choose to not installing it during the mod setup, but you will have to change the binds in the MCM because it's not reliable to have both function on the mouse wheel.

Differences with original mod

• Choose between Smooth transition (8 increment steps) and Classic Mode (4 increment steps)
• When you sprint, player accelerate to is max speed instead of "sprinting slowly" (which look weird)
• Sprint speed is always max, cannot be reduced anymore
• Restore Sprint mode (SSE Only)
• Toggle mode (SSE Only)
  

Requirement:
Any working version of SKSE and SkyUI to be able to configure the mod, it is not skse or skyrim version dependent.

How to install:
Unpack the archive and put as usual, if you use a mod manager, follows instructions. Load order is not important, this mod does not overwrite any record from original game or other mods.

Don't forget to enable the mod after installing it.

How to Update:
Except if a special instruction is specified, overwrite existing files with the new one, start your game and enjoy !
(Don't forget to note your settings before, they are not saved)

Compatiblity:
It should be compatible with everything.
TK Dodge users : Don't use same key for sprinting and dodge or your speed
Customizable Camera / 3PCO users : You must enable the Slow Zoom Fix. Downside it will overwritte Zoom increments and Zoom Speed tweaks.
Possible conflicts with spells or mods that slowdowns the player. Don't change speed while that happens.
