About this mod

Battle Cry target condition fix and adjustments. Active companions will no longer flee in terror, monsters and undead will.

                - Unknown Combatant

For a once per day racial ability intended to strike fear into your enemies, Nord Battle Cry doesn't do a great job of it. Mostly it just wrecks your followers, gets ignored by the majority of monsters in practical situations (actually pretty much everything except stock playable races and beasts), and generally causes trouble of the wrong kind. The intent here is to make a couple of adjustments in hopes of a reliable "get off me" button which is actually useful, feels good to use, and doesn't make you regret not rolling a Breton every time you try to use it.

Target conditions have been revised to include everything except actively recruited companions/hirelings, machines, and dragons.
Area of fear effect and stagger somewhat increased.
New sound effect with added Eldritch Horrorâ„¢, because Bethesda's sound effect is audibly just some people at a baseball game.
The ability will still fear neutral and/or co-aggressive targets, I can't find a way around that, yet, but functionality and usefulness is somewhat improved.

The lovely Sackman shall now demonstrate:

Compatibility:
Compatible with everything, except mods which specifically alter the Battle Cry ability and spell effect themselves. Custom races which are able to use Battle Cry, and other Nord changes should both be fine.
Companion Fix does not edit the Nord race itself, just the racial ability spell and applied debuff.

Install/Uninstall:
Install with the mod manager of your choice, or drag and drop.
This is a simple override .esp + .wav sound, delete both files to uninstall.

Ported to SE by community request, thanks Artaios for file resaves and a token confirmation test!
