SKYWATER_bathing
Basic FeaturesSKYWATER_bathing makes your character dirty over time. Go swimming or take a bath to get clean again.
Dirtiness makes your character more resistant to cold in survival mode. The more dirty you get the higher you can resist cold. Being filthy you will be able to resist freezing water for a minute.
Dirtiness has five stages: refreshed, clean, soiled, dirty and filthy. Dirt effects are applied to player character’s skin over time. Each dirt tier has its individual 4k texture for the dirt effect.
Having installed and activated the mod you will start clean with 3 pieces of soap in your inventory. After 10 game time hours you will get soiled and after another 10 game time hours you will get dirty. Being dirty it takes another 24 game time hours before you will get filthy.
Swimming in water for more than 10 seconds will clean you one tier down (reduces dirtiness stage). You can get clean by repeatedly swimming but won’t get the refreshed bonus.
SKYWATER_bathing lets you take a bath at any natural water source and at any skywater-made water source. Also, you can take a bath without being at a water source if you have a filled bucket of water in your inventory.
Bathing cleans away all the dirt and provides you with a well refreshed bonus for the following 4 game time hours. The well refreshed bonus will increase your skills by 10% and restore fatigue in survival mode. Thereafter, the process restarts at clean stage for the next 10 game time hours and so on.
For taking a bath you have to open your inventory menu and activate (equip) a piece of soap. This will undress your player character and start a bathing animation. Soap will be sold by your trusted vendors or can be crafted at any cooking station.
The player undress process is slot oriented: by default the slots for ring, amulet, circlet and ears were not undressed. If you want to change the undress slot settings or the dirtiness timers you can do so using the SkywaterBathing.txt file in the SkyrimSE data directory.
Compatibility and Requirements
This mod does not change any of the game assets. So, there should be no conflicts or incompatibilities!

SKYWATER_bathing is made for SkyrimSE and needs SKSE and SKYWATER_survival. It is meant to be played in survival mode (cc survival mode plugin is not a mod requirement).
SKYWATER_bathing comes as a light master file (.esl), so it won’t count for the plugin limitation. Place it after SKYWATER_survival and before any esp’s in your plugins-list.
