1. Improves the performance of Realistic Water 2 by using the new bc7 format introduced to SSE by bethesda.
95% the looks at 30% the VRAM at 2k resolution.
You will probably not notice the difference in visuals.
But people who are at the edge of their VRAM will gain a little fps. Saves ~70 mb Vram.
If you got a Geforce TITAN 11GB, you probably won't gain fps.

Saves you 3 times the VRAM
Vanilla: 2 x 2,7 mb = 5,4 mb looking like shit
Xerus: 2 x 16,7mb = 33,4 mb looking great
new file format: 2 x 5,4mb = 10,8 mb also looking great
The white specular has the same form as vanilla and Xerus, the new picture is just from a different angle.
