Could you possibly add support for Fantastic Grasses and Where to Find Them? It doesn't have an SE page on Nexus, so I can see how you missed it, but there IS an SE version on the Skyrim LE page.
After Installing this mod my FPS dropped significantly and my gpu usage jumped to 100% even after uninstall. Is there a way to restore it or am i boned? I do not have DoS and used Skyrim Flora overhaul.
What options did you use on the installer? Not getting your system restored after uninstallation can only mean three things: either you didn't know what you were doing during installation, you don't know what you installed so you can uninstall it, or you don't know how to uninstall a mod completely. What mod manager are you using?
I use MO2 and my game worked fine at 60 fps until install of your mod with performance and no vanilla grass retexture settings selected and only the Skyrim Flora Overhaul patch. After booting up after installation my fps was 17-20 with 100% gpu and vram usage. Your mod was the only change made before the performance dip and the problem remains after I've disabled and uninstalled it via MO2. Ill look into the unistalling a mod completely thing but otherwise these were the only changes made.
If you removed it from the left panel and you still have issues, then 100% this mod is not the culprit! If this is the only change that happened to your game (no other mod, game update or changed settings), then it may be linked to some other random event on your system (system update, driver update, faulty system component, broken graphics card, or even changed settings, start-up apps or registry).
There is no way for a mod, that has been totally removed from the left panel of MO2, to affect the game. This is modding 101.
My man my game worked fine for weeks until I 1. booted it up and played (worked fine) 2. turned the game off 3. downloaded this mod 4. booted game up again there was no time overlap between these events there were no system changes between these events no updates no restarts i didn't even tab anywhere else but the nexus and MO2 i have a sneaking suspicion it was not drivers, graphics card, or hardware because skyrim is the only game affected and both my animated menu screen and the loading screen work at 60 fps. A drivers update after I had ran into the issue and uninstalled the mod was ineffective. Only until i try to load the world, where your mod makes changes, do issues arise. Is there really nothing at all this mod could have left? not even a little change to the ini or maybe the patch is outdated and broke something? Does this mod have an overwrite folder that could have snuck through? Seriously nothing? Ive seen people on this page with an almost identical problem due to an incompatibility, Is it possible there is an incompatible mod you simply haven't tested? there are no mods in conflict so i figured probably not. Ive had mods break my game before and this is pretty textbook.
If you removed it from the left panel, you removed everything! My mod doesn't do any permanent changes to your game or your save file. It doesn't leave anything in the Overwrite folder. It comes with its own .ini file which is removed with the rest of the mod when you remove it from the left panel.
There is literally nothing that can sneak through and remain after you remove it, that's why I'm 100% sure it's not my mod that gives you trouble.
What you are describing, I've had this happen to me in the past a couple of times, and it was simply Windows, Steam, or the game acting up. Sometimes I needed to shut off the PC, sometimes install a new Nvidia driver, sometimes it would get fixed by itself. FPS dropping to 10 or less, and gpu jumping to 100%.
Hi, I was trying your mod and noticed an incrdible FPS increase while using Skoglendi, however, since I'm using the brown tundra option, I also noticed that the grass spawned by your mod is mostly green. Do you have any idea how I could fix it? Tanks in advance, love <3
