   I've been using this or mods like it to improve horse speed for so long that I'd forgotten how Python-esque the default horse trot animation was. You can practically hear the coconuts.

   these mods are great until you trigger a bunch of critter spawns because ur going too fast, and this mod is fast enough, it can cause ur save to crash on save (:

   For some reason, It's not working. I use Convient Horses and no other horse mod.  Installed as instructed, used  Vortex  to  install. It's in data folder but still horses run in vanilla. Help please?

      Old, but just to say:
      
      Convenient Horses edit the "Horse_Sprint_MT" value too, so you need to put Faster horses BELOW Convenient Horses in load order.

    Excellent mod! I never used to bother with horses, but now I ride everywhere. Sometimes I start up the game just to thunder around the countryside for twenty minutes. It's great.
