When playing a magic based character I always notice that its pretty difficult to keep a stock of soul gems around. Soul gems are normally rare and the soul gem fragments you find in the game are useless. This fixes that, this mod makes those useless soul gem fragments able to be smelted into new soul gems. [Description]
When playing a magic based character I always notice that its pretty difficult to keep a stock of soul gems around. Soul gems are normally rare and the soul gem fragments you find in the game are useless. This fixes that, this mod makes those useless soul gem fragments able to be smelted into new soul gems. As well as that it also integrates the fragments into the leveled lists so you can create more soul gems, Not only that you will be able to "Upgrade" your soul gems by using 2 of the previous less powerfull soul gems to make 1 of the more powerfull ones.
Now you can create many soul gems.
The recipes should only show up if you have enough soul gem fragments/soul gems to create that recipe

Soul gem fragments (in the world get converted to useable soul gem fragments by the recipes)
Petty Soul Gem -> 5 Soul gem fragments
Lesser Soul Gem -> 10 Soul gem fragments
Common Soul Gem -> 15 Soul gem fragments
Greater Soul Gem -> 20 Soul gem fragments
Grand Soul Gem -> 25 Soul gem fragments
Black Soul Gem -> 25 Soul gem fragments
OR
2 Petty Soul Gem -> 1 Lesser Soul Gem
2 Lesser Soul Gem -> 1 Common Soul Gem
2 Common Soul Gem -> 1 Greater Soul Gem
2 Greater Soul Gem -> 1 Grand Soul gem
2 Grand Soul Gem -> 1 Black Soul Gem
[Features]
-Adds 16 new recipes for crafting soul gems (non filled) at the smelter
-Fragments are integrated into the leveled lists (bosses have 100% chance of drop rate)
-Designed for console support
*I tested the mod both on PS4 and PC
[Possible ways to find the soul gem fragments]
-Draugr mages (50% chance to have them)
-Dremora (50% chance to have them)
-Hagraven (50% chance to have them)
-Warlock (50% chance to have them)
-Bandit Mages (50% chance to have them)
-Soul Man (50% chance to have them)
-Vampire (50% chance to have them)
-Harkon (Will always drop them, same chances as dragon priests and dragons)
-Dragon priest (will always drop them, and will have more than base enemies because these are bosses technically)
-Dragons (Will always drop them, same chances as dragon priests)
-Convert the fragments randomly found in the world and bodies to ones useable by the recipes (1:1 ratio of conversion)
