A compatibility patch for Chapter II has been added in the optional files section (you still need to install Chapter II). If you're also using Melodies of Civilization, you also need to grab the patch there!
Lowkey the best music mod I've ever had. I can't get enough of it. Pair it with Less Music mod and every time the music plays it's like I'm being kissed by an angel.
Has anyone else had an issue install Still with the chapter II patch and running Requiem? No matter what I do I keep getting this error message: Your load order could not be verified. The mod 'Still - Chapter II Patch.esp' has missing masters: Missing Mods (no file found) •Still.esp"
I can 100% verify that I have installed still and the 3.5 patch and even have them separated. I am surprised at this error tbh.
Hey OrganicView, I was wondering if there was any way to prevent the replacer version of this mod from replacing the 'Secunda' track from Vanilla. It's my favourite night time explore soundtrack and would love to have the replacer version but with Secunda as well. Could you please let me know?
Well I've got good news for you: the replacer version of Still doesn't replace "Secunda". The only night track that's replaced with this version is "Kyne's Peace" (mus_explore_night_01) - the other night tracks are untouched
Hmm I'm unsure what's happening then. I'm using this with Melodies of Civillisation, Around the Fire and Hun Lovaas and haven't heard Secunda in a while. Installed Still, MoC and AtF at the same time and haven't heard that track since. I run around quite a lot at night. I don't use any other music mods (your tracks are awesome btw). Would you have any idea as to why it might be the case? Does Melodies replace it?
(Unrelated but I installed your Dawnguard sountrack too (main file, not combat) but much later after all the above)
I took a peek and yes, Melodies if the culprit. The fix is really easy: rename the file called "mus_explore_night_02" that's in music/explore to "mus_explore_night_04" and you'll have Secunda back.
Amazing, thank you! One last thing - is there any way to have Kyne's Peace back from Still in the same way I can get back Secunda? I love all the vanilla night tracks, just the day time and city ones I'd ideally like to replace.
If you wanna do that, you'll have to delete all the night tracks that are replaced, so it'll be "MUS_Explore_Night_01.xwm" from still and "MUS_Explore_Night_02.xwm" and "MUS_Explore_Night_03.xwm" from Melodies. That way, none of the night tracks will be affected
Sorry I didn't mean to drag this out but I wannna clarify - I meant, have the Still and Melodies night tracks in addition to vanilla, while replacing all the day time/city tracks. If that's too complicated to do, no worries. Thanks again for the support :)
You would have to install the plugin version of both mods, and remove all the Music Tracks that aren't night tracks in xEdit (they're labelled) or remove all the non-night tracks from each archive - at this point, it seems easier to use the plugin version as is, and keep all vanilla tracks
Say I wanted to add more tracks of my own to play during the day in game. Would I add them to the Still folder and rename said tracks to STILL_Day04.xwm for example. Would that work?
I absolutely love this mod! Fits perfectly with the vanilla soundtrack and really adds to the immersion when I'm out looting or exploring. I did notice some distortion/peaking on 'The Creek' though which sucks since it's probably one of my favorite tracks.
