If you have installed the modification CACO - follow the link and install a fix to it and everything will work fine for you! "Be a Milk Drinker - iNeed CACO-Frostfall Patches name --> iNeed - CACO Patch WIP ---> distributes products (soups) in mod CACO into categories - light, medium and heavy food! Patch CACO - iNeed DD Patch support module Dangerous Diseases on this page is very outdated and does not perform its functions, download it from section Update Files ---> name CACO - iNeed - Dangerous Diseases - Patch 2.1 - Eng
IMPORTANT!!! The order of loading mods is as follows: *iNeed *iNeed - Extended ( Important! select option Extended - No Food - No Recipes when installing!!! ) *iNeed - Dangerous Diseases *Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul *iNeed CACO Patch <--- name Ineed - CACO Patch WIP from page Be a Milk Drinker - iNeed CACO Patch - it defines CACO soups as food ! *CACO - iNeed DD Patch*
* I fixed it fix -> CACO - iNeed - Dangerous Diseases - Patch. Now you can get this fix file from section UPDATE FILES. The original module CACO - iNeed DD Patch.esp contains a bug (and out of order of the master files), so recommend using the fix I made. Update 2024: + Allows you to create Potion of Cure for Diseases in the Alchemy Retort (need “Physician” perk).
a) Recommended that you disable iNeed's option ( in MCM ) to alter the weight of food, as this can conflict with the changes made by CACO. b) If you play using mod iNeed and mod CACO, when installing mod iNeed, select option Extended - No Food - No Recipes, otherwise there will be conflicts in the cooking menu, since both mods use the same recipes, but in one case with Water ( CACO ), in the other ( iNeed ) - Waterskins!
Q: i use skytest, caco, hunterborn, what is the boot order? Answer:
iNeed iNeed - Extended<-- without changing food recipes /// ( install iNeed Extended it is not required! ) Skytes Hunterborn Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul ALL PATCH <---- here in the same sequence all the fixes for the mod !
(of course, all mods must be present for compatibility!) and there will be no problems!

Q: i use old version iNeed mod, what are the restrictions? A: When using version 1.90 - 1.93 iNeed it will be enough to load module "iNeed - Dangerous Diseases" after "CACO" to fix compatibility due to "Potion of Cure Sanguinare Vampiris". "kryptopyr's Patch Hub" ---> this fix is only needed for versions 1.90 - 1.92 ! ---> iNeed __ CACO adds the correct option to get the Waterskin in CACO and food degradation in iNeed.
A new compatibility patch with an addition Beyond Skyrim - Bruma SE 1) iNeed - Extended - Bruma module with the addition of food and drinks and the ability to collect snow from snowdrifts, at the tavern they will fill your waterskin. You can download from here -> iNeed - Extended - Bruma.zip (ESL format file .esp) 2) Dangerous Diseases module for Bruma, now priests heal and alchemists sell healing potions ( from module iNeed - Dangerous Diseases ) ! You can download from here -> iNeed - Dangerous Diseases - Bruma_ver193.zip
You installed mod Realistic Water Two SE and can't get some water in your waterskin?! Install the compatibility patch - now I made it myself, download the actual patch in the UPDATE FILES section! Attention! These fixes are not required for mod iNeed version 1.93 (PExt)*** or 1.94 and above! Or if you failed to install powerofthree's Papyrus Extender
***iNeed version 1.93 (PExt) - requires the installation of extension powerofthree's Papyrus Extender for its work, but there is no need to put numerous patches on installed mods with changing reservoirs, rivers, waterfalls, etc.

IMPORTANT !!! For the stable operation of the mod, it is strongly recommended to DISABLEautosave functions of the game, especially when the character changes the location!
=>There was a problem: you Character teleports after picking waterskins to the place where he started entering the location. Do not ignore the warning " The iNeed is set, do not open the MCM menu! ", when you first install the mod iNeed !!! Scenarios should correctly integrate into your save, wait 25 ~ 30 seconds and if you have a lot of mods in the game, then 2 ~ 3 minutes! Instruction from alakohope how to fix this problem: 1. Go to the iNeed MCM menu and disable the iNeed (AFTER it is properly installed and initiated ofcourse). 2. Drop the waterskin you get (and any other waterskins you have additionally crafted/looted) from your inventory. 3. Turn on the console, click on the waterskin(s) and type "disable", Enter. 4. Play the game as you normally would for a good while. 5. Save the game and quit. 6. Disable iNeed from your Vortex/Mod Manager 2. 7. Load the game. Ignore warning that iNeed is missing. Play the game for a while. 8. Save the game and quit. 9. Enable the iNeed from your Vortex/Mod Manager 2. 10. Load the game again. Let iNeed start up properly. 11. DON'T open the MCM menu until you finally get a message " 1 [...] has been added to your MCM configuration " ! 12. Drop the free waterskin you just got and disable it via console. 13. Go to the tanning rack and make a new one. 14. Drink water!
=>There was a problem: causes CTD upon opening Inventory or when you save the game.
Motizie: My inventory opens, I can move everything. But I can't open any chests or anything else in the game it crashes. I couldn't find anyone with this specific problem. i solved using loot
I looked at some old threads and found multiple mentions of:
Load an older save ( as long as it doesn't have CTD on save glitch )
Create a NEW save ( through pause menu )
Type in console: player.kill
Load your latest save ( the one that had CTD glitch )
Type in console: player.kill
Try saving ( I usually just use quicksave )
1) Instruction from syuki577 how to fix this problem: Watch out for priority issues Loading order Plug-in: iNeed.esp iNeed - Extended.esp <NO CTD>
So, follow only this loading order: iNeed.esp iNeed - Extended.esp
2) Another problem causing the game to crash is items from previously removed mods in the character's inventory. You deleted the mod, but the items remain! Although invisible. It is necessary to clear the inventory before installing iNeed, since you decided to install it not at the beginning of your character's life. There is one more important point: if you install some kind of mod and then delete it, some things in the inventory remaining from this mod can cause an ERROR when opening the inventory, leading to СTD! Therefore, after removing the modifications, it is advisable to clean your character’s inventory by putting all the valuable and expensive things in any container in the interior and enter the command in the console: player.removeallitems (necessary to remove items left in inventory from remote mods that (possibly!) cause CTD games)**, save the game, exit, restart the game, load last save and saved again, exit ((if you are experienced, clear the save from unnecessary scripts with FallrimTools - Script cleaner )), connect (in our case the iNeed) re-installable or new mod, start game, load the last save, wait 5 minutes and saved game. Go ahed! **You must do the same before installing iNeed, if you connect this mod much later than the start of your game.
If you do not have such a save, then deactivate mod iNeed in the MCM, make a save, exit game, and download again load a save, put all the items you need in the container and enter the command in the console: player.removeallitems and make a save, exit the game, restart the game, go to in the "mod settings" menu and set in MCM activate a mod iNeed, load the last save, play.
3) Instruction from swagmaster1969 how to fix this problem: For anyone crashing-on-save, I disabled iNeed through the MCM, waited a couple minutes, saved, reenabled.
=>Termination of settings MCM menu. Instruction from phasmaphobic how to fix this problem: iNeed loaded up for me once - and only once. I was able to get to the MCM menu and adjust some minor settings, and now I am no longer able to get to that Menu. I've tried reloading, deleting and resintalling, and more. Nothing seems to work. The iNeeds option appears in MCM, but when I click it never loads the sub menus. I managed to fix it with a console forced reload of the MCM using this command: setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
=>Can't get some water in your waterskin? You installed mod Realistic Water Two? Install the fix for iNeed ( ver. 1.91 - 1.93 ) ---> Realistic Water Two - Updated Needs Patch ( Please! Read the description for them to understand which one suits you best! ) Attention! These fixes are not required for mod iNeed version 1.93 (PExt)*** or 1.94 and above! Be sure to install one of the fixes, this will help you avoid situations with teleportation of your character in the game to the place of entry to the location when collecting water from sources (river, lake) into the waterskin. ***iNeed version 1.93 (PExt) - requires the installation of extension powerofthree's Papyrus Extender for its work, but there is no need to put numerous patches on installed mods with changing reservoirs, rivers, waterfalls, etc.
=>Problems arise when using the "character sit down" animation. This is a long standing problem and is known, do not use this feature or use it in first person only ...
=>Problems with "eat" and "drink" keyboard shortcuts: namelol23wrytes: 16 May 2022, 5:10AM if anyone has any hotkey problem with eating go in advance setting and make sure you uncheck cannibalism.
=>My followers don't eat the food I give them / or complain that there is no food even though I gave them enough gold. -> If your followers are ignoring eating food, you need to take this food into inventory, turn on the "Classify" mode in menu MCM mod iNeed, classify it, turn off the "Classify" mode, save the game. After that, your followers MUST eat what mod iNeed has already recognized! -> Perhaps you have enabled the "Cannibalism" option in the mod iNeed settings, if your character is not a cannibal - disable it and the food consumption of the followers will be normalized. -> Before dismissing your Follower (or one of them), turn off the "Followers ask for food" function, otherwise the dismissed NPC will constantly remind you that he has no food/water/gold in his inventory, no longer being your character's Follower. You can re-enable this feature after the person who has been fired leaves the team.
=>For some reason hunger is not replenished by eating (Survival mode!) Zachlon 06 June 2022, 4:20AM I solved exact that Problem in the following way:
1) Menu --> Settings --> Gameplay --> Deactivate the in-Game Survival Mode. 2) Wait a few seconds. 3) Optional: deactivate iNeed Mod and consume food until Hunger is gone. After that follow step 1 and 2.
=>After installation, there is no menu MСM mod iNeed 1) enter the command in the console: setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
2) if for some reason the first method does not suit you, install the mod Jaxonz MCM Kicker SE
3) Any mod that uses a script can fail, there is a third way to get the MCM menu back, but it requires certain skills. Perhaps he will help you. Details use FallrimTools - Script cleaner under the spoiler.

Attention! This method is suitable for those who understand what he is doing. Those who want to wait for the final fix are better off just waiting! For this to work, you need to re-run the menu script (because the menu script didn't work properly for some reason!). In order to restore the MCM menu and it did not affect the passage of the already started game, you must perform additional steps: 1) Save your character indoors or in a location. 2) Stop the execution of the MCM menu show reverse script by doing it in the created save with program Fallrim Tools: you need to terminate script _snskyuiconfig in your save game using program Fallrim Tools ( i am using version 4.3.2 ), for this load your save game, open section Active Scripts section, Delete scripts _snskyuiconfig, go to File for Save result and make another backup of save file.
3) Load the corrected save and wait for the new MCM menu registration message to appear (don't do anything BEFORE that! Just wait.). Everything, you can, after the registration message, wait 3 - 5 minutes and open the MCM menu, go to the iNeed section and activate the mod in it and customize the mod iNeed.
Also, this method of clearing script ( _snskyuiconfig ) helps if you used a very very old version of iNeed mod in your walkthrough and decided to install the latest version of the mod.
=> For some reason in my game the auto drink feature doesnt work. My character doesnt drink things in my inventory (that I have) and a message shows up saying that I dont have consumables anymore (but I do have!!) Any ideas why this is happening?
If for some reason (crash, glitch, installation of a other mod that changes drinks) the mod cannot recognize drinks as drinks - go to MCM menu for iNeed mod and manually classify all your drinks in inventory, indicating that they are water, wine, etc. After classifying all the required drinks, turn off the "Categorize" mode and save the game, otherwise the changes will not be applied. The picture under the spoiler will show you the path to this utility, if you could not find it yourself, read the description in HINTS when you hover over Categorize with the mouse:

Do not play with the iNeed mod in Survival mode! iNeed, Wet and Cold and Frostfall mods were once created to bring elements of survival into the vanilla game, then Skyrim Anniversary Edition was created and in it the Survival mode, which now uses other, modified scenarios, but to the same functions "thirst", "hunger", "rest", etc. We will consider these mods incompatible. No one will create compatibility patches, these mods essentially overlap in 90% of the features. But if after reading this text you still decide to use these mods together, maybe advice from Zachlon will help you. Now you can only help yourself)

If I'm reading the notes in the Description correctly... there's no longer a need for any of the available patches between CACO and iNeed 1.93? Just shut off any value alteration within iNeed (weight, etc) completely, as quoted: "It is also recommended that you disable iNeed's option to alter the weight of food, as this can conflict with the changes made by CACO and result in some odd weight values"?
On a related note, between iNeed, CACO, and Frostfall, I've only found one patch that addresses all three - but it seems to also require Be a Milk Drinker, as seen in the patch requirements. I suppose I'm a little confused about all the patches running around by this point, and unfortunately I'm not quite skilled enough with xEdit to sort them all out. I suppose I'm asking which ones still apply to the latest versions.
For reference, of the mods mentioned in the various patches and places, I'm using the latest versions of these (currently in this overwrite order, in MO2):
hello, sharplittleclaws! I already answered here (answers below) about fixes for version 1.93 iNeed - Continued, everything that you listed is not required, or does not affect the work of this version. 1) To work correctly when filling with water waterskins in some places changed by modification Realistic Water Two and some others needs -> Realistic Water Two - Updated Needs Patch -> in version 1.93 (PExt) and version 1.94 or 1.95 this fix not need! ! update 02 Dec 2022 -> Some players still can't handle install powerofthree's Papyrus Extender, so I made a patch for RWT, you can find it in Downloads Updates section! 2) As for modifications Campfire & Frostfall and Hunterborn SE improved scripting support is built into iNeed, but the listed additions still require fixes for iNeed mod. Hier more info -> Hunterborn MCM Soups and Stews - iNeed Patch Detection Fix ! update 23 Oct 2024 Patch supplied with Hunterborn SE mod not suitable for the new version iNeed1.95, very outdated and no longer required! Do not install this Hunterborn - iNeed Patch to ver. 1.95 iNeed mod, otherwise you will break the operation of mod iNeed. 3) Attention! Kryptopyr's Patch Hub: patch name iNeed __ CACO ended with version mod iNeed - Continued ver. 1.93, as this is now built into the scripts of mod iNeed and the connection in your mod CACO game is automatically recognized. Also - installing this patch will break the script for Namira's ring! And many other changes to new scripts iNeed 1.95 !! 4) As for the recommendation not to change such options as weight and cost of food when installing mod Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul - they still have a place, follow them.
ok i have removed the ineed CACO patch, and hunterborn ineed patch. Do i still need bruma ineed patch ? falsakar ineed patch ? grey cowl of nocturnal ineed patch ? DBM ineed pactch ? ctfo ineed patch ? and be a milk drinker patches ?
1) iNeed - Extended - Bruma module with the addition of food and drinks and the ability to collect snow from snowdrifts. At the Tavern they will fill your waterskin. Download zip archive from here -> iNeed - Extended - Bruma.zip ( ESL format file .esp ) (i) You can collect water from rivers, lakes, snow from snowdrifts. A waterskin is being filled in the Tavern. Your friend (any NPC) living in Bruma will give you water. Version without snowdrifts (some people need this) -> iNeed - Extended - Bruma (noSnowDrift).zip ( ESL format file .esp )
2) Dangerous Diseases module for Bruma, now priests heal and alchemists sell healing potions ( from module iNeed - Dangerous Diseases ) ! You can download from here -> iNeed - Dangerous Diseases - Bruma.zip ( ESL format file .esp )
(i) This patch adds to the dialogue with the priests in Bruma, allowing you to ask for help in healing from an illness (for a donation to the temple, of course))). Alchemists (in Bruma) sell potions for diseases.
P.S. I myself created these files using SSEEdit, so I guarantee their full compatibility and performance.
and mod`s Falsakar, a Milk Drinker and more other mod (adding food and drinks) for correct work mod iNeed - Continue with these modules are of course necessary corresponding fix. As for the rest, I can’t say anything, I have never played with these modifications. For correct load order of all mods and their fixes, use Load Order Optimisation Tool ---> LOOT <--- The same if you have already used in your current save early versions iNeed, or fix iNeed__CACO, follow instructions under the spoiler ->

The fix iNeed__CACO contains a script (modification to one of iNeed's scripts _snplayeralias ) that fixes iNeed is already built into version 1.93, but there are other changes in scripts _snplayeralias and it regarding cannibalism and Namira's ring and more!!! But the problem may be that you have already played with this save using version 1.92, 1.91 or 1.90Alpfa (a save may contain an old cooking script, it can be removed from the save by the Fallrim Tools).
I just started this mod with a new game. How do you get water. I crafted a water skin and only get salt water (was in dawnstar). I can also buy water barrels from the store. Is there an easier way to collect water?
Water is drawn into an empty Waterskin. Pond or River Set: Your Character enters knee-deep Water and you use: (1) Press “Drink/Draw water” hotkey 2~4 seconds assigned in MCM menu iNeed mod ( starts animation of water collection) (2)Activate an empty Waterskin in the character’s inventory with LKM (mouse), water is drawn into the empty Waterskin.
(3)Water can be obtained from collected Snow, from a bucket placed in the Rain, from a large Barrel and from a small barrel (you buy from merchants: Belethor, Khajiit, others), from a Well ( example: Whiterun - the Bucket stands on the Edge of the Well )
(4)Salt Water is collected ONLY from the Sea. From salty you get ( using a Pot for cooking Food ) Salt. Important! Salt Water can be collected only Activate an empty Waterskin in the character’s inventory with L-K-Mouse! Salt Water can not be drunk, so hotkey will not work for drawn Water from Sea!
I hope you installed powerofthree's Papyrus Extender ( and all other components necessary for its operation: SKSE64 and Address Library for SKSE Plugins and Visual C++ Redistributables (2015/2017/2019) ) to correct any water changed in the game by many mods? Make sure once again by reading the game report that Papyrus Extender mod actually connected and the report says that it works! A report on his work is on the way: C:\Users\ name User \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE You can simply go to the My Documents folder and find there folder My Games and so on, up to folder SKSE Report file name: po3_papyrusextender64.log : If it is missing or contains errors, reinstall Papyrus Extender correctly!

For anyone who has a problem with followers not recognizing food items and always grumbling for food, make sure to turn off your "cannibalism" option, that will get things fixed!
I'm now playing 1.6.1170. I've run into the CTD on save problem. I've been able to stop the problem temporarily by following the instructions below:
3) Instruction from swagmaster1969 how to fix this problem: For anyone crashing-on-save, I disabled iNeed through the MCM, waited a couple minutes, saved, reenabled.
However, the problem reoccurs when I reload the save, although the same fix works again.
Is there any way to avoid the problem altogether or to fix the problem permanently?
I'm now playing 1.6.1170. I've run into the CTD on save problem. Is there any way to avoid the problem altogether or to fix the problem permanently?
Do you understand that this problem is associated only with your personal installation? Otherwise, the whole discussion would be filled with the same messages. You did not provide any additional data, except for the version of the game used, you didn’t even indicate which mod you use (the version, which modules are connected), so giving you the advice is very, very difficult. Practically - impossible. I can assume that the problem arose at the very beginning. When installing, you ignored this: D0 NOT Ignore Warning in game: -> " The iNeed is set, do not open the MCM menu! ", when you first install the mod iNeed !!!Scenarios should correctly integrate into your save, wait 25 ~ 30 seconds and if you have a lot of mods in the game, then 2 ~ 3 minutes! Try to go into a closed location, put all things from mods in the container (food, buckets, spare parts for barrels, waterskin, etc.), turn off the mod in MCM, save the game. To get out and clear save game of the scripts the need, because they were introduced incorrectly (due to the hasty entry in the menu during installation). Then load the cleaned save game and activate the mod again, patiently wait for the installation and not go to the MCM menu. I hope this will help you.
Attention! This method is suitable for those who understand what he is doing. Those who want to wait for the final fix are better off just waiting! For this to work, you need to re-run script (because the menu script didn't work properly for some reason!). In order to restore the MCM menu and it did not affect the passage of the already started game, you must perform additional steps: 1) Save your character indoors or in a location, put all things from mods in the container (food, buckets, spare parts for barrels, waterskin, etc.) 2) Stop the execution iNeed mod of the MCM menu show reverse script by doing it in the created save with use program Fallrim Tools: you need to Delete 2 script`s in your Save game using program ( Fallrim Tools , i am using version 4.3.2 ), for this load your save game, open section Active Scripts section, Delete scripts _snskyuiconfig and _snquestscript , go to File for Save result and make another backup of save file.
3) Load the corrected save and wait for the new MCM menu registration message to appear (don't do anything BEFORE that! Just wait.). Everything, you can, after the registration message, wait 3 - 5 minutes and open the MCM menu, go to iNeed menu section and activate the mod in it and customize iNeed mod.
P.S. The second Reason for the failure can be the mods of which the objects of which remained in the inventory of your character after their removal, especially if it is food and drinks! You deleted the mod, but objects - no. They are not visible, but records about them exist, which causes a failure each time when processing an inventory for searching or using food or drinks to a character. Find in a STICKY message (which is at the very top), how to clean the character’s inventory ( from objects in the inventory remaining after deleted of mod ), this can also help.
Sorry for not providing all of the info you needed! I was using iNeed v1.95 AE and didn't have other connected modules although I also using Frostbite and Campire.
The problem did not arise at the beginning of the game but only after several days of play. I've been using iNeed for a long time, so I'm aware of and heed the warning not to open the MCM. I'm also aware that mods cannot be uninstalled/deleted mid-game and haven't done that here. I understood this to be a known issue given that it is referred to in the sticky.
I'll try to implement your suggestions next time I play with iNeed in my load order.
Love the mod, but I have two requests: to make it possible for followers to drink more than just water in their inventory, such as alcohol and other non-alcoholic drinks, and if it's not too difficult to achieve, to increase the 3/3 waterskin to 10/10 or 20/20 number of times they can be drunk from.
to make it possible for followers to drink more than just water in their inventory
Your followers do not drink drinks and water? So they do not perceive them as drinks. Read STICKY messages or find the same request in section BUGS ( For example here: Categorize consumable menu keeps popping up ). Everything is described in detail with explanations and screen pictures. Recognize system is built into the iNeed mod ( in case, if did not work automatically, or you have any very rare mod for food and drinks! ), just recognize these drinks manually as you like: you can even make water that waterskin will become wine. As for the increase waterskin 3/3 to 10/10 or 20/20, everyone is unlikely to be needed.
@nodule2016 I have categorized the alcohol drinks (the different ale and wines in Skyrim) as drinks, alcoholic, and yes, I did look and enable the setting in the MCM. But the follower still complains that there are no drink in inventory, even if I put non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks there (that I have manually categorized). Followers only drink water from waterskins, and nothing else, despite manual categorization..
Thank you for this mod and all your hard work! I have an issue and ill try to be as detailed as possible. My snowdrifts are invisible and when i reload a save it sometimes comes back and other times not, i checked and the only things i have is Nordic Snow, this mod and Dyndolod messing with it. This mod is way above Nordic Snow and ive tried even switching them just to play around and nothing, i get into the game and it seems fine at first then i will go elsewhere and suddenly be walking on air where an invisible snowdrift is. I cant imagine Dyndolod messing with it and Nordic Snow isnt conflicting with anything other than this mod so this is my order: Ineed Continued, Nordic Snow, Dyndolod so unless its a patch that isnt being referenced when i check then its one of these three. I apologize if it isnt this mod but Nordic has practically no patches other than with Ineed so its pretty much on its own and the snowdrifts are from this one, I play with no recipes/no food changes. Hope this helps and thanks!
Cassik3033, I am ready to investigate your difficulty, but indicate (additionally) which version of Skyrim you use.
update
My snowdrifts are invisible
1) The main mod ( iNeed ) does not change snowdrifts 2) iNeed - Extended changes access to the tops of snowdrifts, adding a mark of snow gathering, try starting a new test game without setting an iNeed - Extended, If the problem remains - the iNeed mod is not at all for your problem of involvement
Thank you for responding, I did what you suggested and the snowdrifts were there, im curious if its a problem between Extended and the Eating Animations and Sounds Patch for Followers by hanshotfirst01. Ill play around with it and make double sure it isnt Extended, Thank you for the Mod <3
Ok so follow up, after disabling a patch or restarting the game the invisible snowdrifts close by are there but any that didn't load in yet remain invisible when i get to them. I have the option to collect snow but still invisible, if i save and reload they remain invisible, I've disabled any less popular patch mods 2 of which were only animations but the problem is still there. As of now the only things i have regarding Ineed is the mod itself and Extended, the water options from Skyland AIO and a patch for my custom follower Kaidan, in my load order the only thing overwriting Ineed is Nordic snow which ive tried to switch up the load order of before but the problem persists. I can't see it being a Dyndolod problem but its your mod so youd know more than me. I appreciate your attention to this, thank you.
I looked at this collection of Skyland AIO mod. He changes snow (including snowdrifts). Why are you sure that everything is in order with him? Most likely this is the problem of the absence (or failure) of textures for snowdrifts. What would I do: I unpacked the textures (snowdrifts) from file .bsa and placed them in Data your Skyrim folder (observing the correctness of the ways of placement) and stuck that the snowdrifts appeared Mod Nordic Snow - these are also a textures of a snowdrift, and I do not know if you are installed correctly.
Textures - are just what we see in the game. Or do not see))
Thank you for the suggestions, ill look into it. Just from what i can tell the problem is around Extended and Skyland, if Extended is disabled then snowdrifts from Skyland is there and fine but Extended gets enabled and snowdrifts drink potion of invisibility. Would a patch be a potential answer? Or could it be just a conflict of versions? I apologize for being a pain, but i'm grateful for the insight.
Would a patch be a potential answer? Or could it be just a conflict of versions?
Need to check everything, load the full version of Skyland AIO mod in the SSEedit (at least), see conflicts ... I will try to do this in the near future (as soon as there is free time), then I can give an accurate answer. Specify, Skyland AIO mod install with Nordic Snow mod ? Do you install a patch for Nordic Snow mod, which is included in iNeed mod installation?
I really appreciate it, I have the patch for Nordic from your install and Nordic snow seems to be working fine with the snowdrifts from Skyland AIO its just when i enable Extended that things get wonky. Ive played around with the order which the three load but its the same everytime.
Try not to install a patch (for Nordic Snow) that goes along with installer iNeed mod, I see that the latest version of Nordic Snow ver. 3.4.4 already contains newer Snow textures, perhaps this is the reason for your problem
The path of the Game Folder : Data -> Textures -> foodandsleep , files - snow01.dds
no sadly the problem is still there, even when i take away Nordic snow all together and just leave Skyland AIO and Ineed Extended it still the same problem
Cassik3033, unfortunately, I could not repeat your situation, all the same, some mod that you have not mentioned. And I am not familiar with the work of a Dyndolod, maybe he intervenes? Although he forms an image at a great distance from the character’s camera. Try to somehow turn it off and check. There are no more ideas. Everything works for me.
P.S. I can make an iNeed - Extended option where all the changes in the snowdrifts are deleted, only recipes for cooking will remain if you are still interested to find the cause of your problem. This will be a good option.
I really appreciate you taking the time to look into this and giving me great feedback, if you couldnt replicate it then its more than likely something in my load order. I'll figure it out but thank you so much for your time and help!
I was wondering if this was safe to uninstall mid-save?
This is completely safe if you do it right! Remove (or put in any container) from your character inventory all the waterskin (empty and full), all food, drinks, all other objects from iNeed mod (buckets, workpieces for making barrels of water, etc.), turn off iNeed mod in MCM menu, save game, delete iNeed mod. It is also necessary to do with any mod that introduces some objects and equipment to the game to remove it from your game
Yes, of course, if they have drinks, food and other items added to iNeed mod I would recommend still waiting for 3 days in the room in which you carry out all these procedures so that the assortment of merchants changes
Kiryu5834 In the description of the mod, all answers are present. You can read more about installation tips and the need for patches in the first and second STICKY LOCKED POST messages in more detail.
can i install this on a existing save?
Yes. You do not need to start a new game.
D0 NOT Ignore Warning in game: -> " The iNeed is set, do not open the MCM menu! ", when you first install the mod iNeed !!! Scenarios should correctly integrate into your save, wait 25 ~ 30 seconds and if you have a lot of mods in the game, then 2 ~ 3 minutes!
Do special homes need a patch for them? IE Tirashan seems not to refill my sleep meter if I sleep in it. I read but can't see any answer on this. Sorry to bother!
This is the bed of this house: Tirashan - Necromancer Home SSE ? If possible, I will check this mod, but this is hardly the problem of this mod. If there is a special bed, then (perhaps!) sleep rest is not counted. But need to check it. Although this is rather a lack of mod for an individual house, because for sleeping a standard condition for sleep is used, which is used by Survival mod.
update I checked, the bed in the house gives rest ( I do not use Survival mod ), look for another reason
Forgive me if this was addressed somewhere else, but is it expected that I am unable to gather water anywhere around Solitude docks? I can gather water near and around the Riverwood area without issue.
thanks in advance for any info/assistance you can provide!
never mind, answered my own question. I was trying to do it with the hotkey and I have since found out that the hotkey only works with drinkable water. I clicked the waterskin in the inventory and salt water was gathered as it should be!
I can't seem to get the waterskins to work. I have installed powerofthree's Papyrus Extender and its requirements. I don't have any water mods installed. I keep getting the message, "You are not close enough to drinkable water," even when I'm knee deep in water. I don't have any other mods installed besides Alternate Start and SkyUI.
x0evenstar0x2 , I hope you understand that this does not work only for you? We have already analyzed this situation many times, you have incorrectly installed Papyrus Extender ( Papyrus Extender version must correspond to the Skyrim version SE or AE ) and other applications that are required to work:
I hope you installed powerofthree's Papyrus Extender (and all other components necessary for its operation: SKSE64 and Address Library for SKSE Plugins and Visual C++ Redistributables (2015/2017/2019) ) to correct any water changed in the game by many mods? Make sure once again by reading the game report that Papyrus Extender mod actually connected and the report says that it works! A report on his work is on the way: C:\Users\ name User \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE You can simply go to the My Documents folder and find there folder My Games and so on, up to folder SKSE Report file name: po3_papyrusextender64.log : If it is missing or contains errors, reinstall Papyrus Extender correctly!
Wait(0.1) Int DrunkMax If IsMale DrunkMax = 4 Else DrunkMax = 3 EndIf
Universal Water Patch (у меня, вроде, он приоритет имеет, патч все-таки)

Use program: Load Order Optimization Tool ---> LOOT <---
or Wrye Bash or Mod Organizer 2, for greater compatibility of your modifications.
The most common problems have now been fixed, and descriptions of effective fixes for other problems that arise when the mod is installed incorrectly are stored under the spoiler...
So, problems with incorrect installation, example up Spoiler:
The order of loading mods is as follows:
*iNeed
*iNeed - Extended ( Important! select option Extended - No Food - No Recipes when installing!!! )
*iNeed - Dangerous Diseases
*Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul
*iNeed CACO Patch <--- name Ineed - CACO Patch WIP from page Be a Milk Drinker - iNeed CACO Patch - it defines CACO soups as food !
Answer:
iNeed
iNeed - Extended <-- without changing food recipes /// ( install iNeed Extended it is not required! )
Skytes
Hunterborn
Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul
ALL PATCH <---- here in the same sequence all the fixes for the mod !
(of course, all mods must be present for compatibility!) and there will be no problems!
iNeed Extended | Help: installation options |

This option is not compatible with other mods that modify vanilla food and recipes.
-- Removes magic effect buffs and debuffs from most food and drink items.
+ Enables snow collection from medium to large exterior snow drifts simply by activating them.
-- Removes the Salt Pile ingredient from cooked meat.
+ Re-balances soup recipes by adding a water ingredient requirement and by changing the number of soups produced from 1 to 2. Innkeepers will now sometimes sell soups and DLC Hearthfire foods.

iNeed - Extended will not be installed*.
*In this case, the snow textures for the tops of the snowdrifts will also not be installed!
A new compatibility patch with an addition Beyond Skyrim - Bruma SE
1) iNeed - Extended - Bruma module with the addition of food and drinks and the ability to collect snow from snowdrifts, at the tavern they will fill your waterskin. You can download from here -> iNeed - Extended - Bruma.zip (ESL format file .esp)
2) Dangerous Diseases module for Bruma, now priests heal and alchemists sell healing potions ( from module iNeed - Dangerous Diseases ) !
*** iNeed version 1.93 (PExt) - requires the installation of extension powerofthree's Papyrus Extender for its work, but there is no need to put numerous patches on installed mods with changing reservoirs, rivers, waterfalls, etc.
For those who don't know how to use Spoiler : click (Show)
And other solutions to problems:
IMPORTANT !!! For the stable operation of the mod, it is strongly recommended to DISABLE autosave functions of the game, especially when the character changes the location!
Instruction from alakohope how to fix this problem:
1) Instruction from syuki577 how to fix this problem:
Watch out for priority issues
Loading order Plug-in:
iNeed.esp
iNeed - Extended.esp
<NO CTD>
Loading order Plug-in:
iNeed - Extended.esp
iNeed.esp"
< ! CTD ! >
So, follow only this loading order:
iNeed.esp
iNeed - Extended.esp
2) Another problem causing the game to crash is items from previously removed mods in the character's inventory. You deleted the mod, but the items remain! Although invisible. It is necessary to clear the inventory before installing iNeed, since you decided to install it not at the beginning of your character's life.
There is one more important point: if you install some kind of mod and then delete it, some things in the inventory remaining from this mod can cause an ERROR when opening the inventory, leading to СTD! Therefore, after removing the modifications, it is advisable to clean your character’s inventory by putting all the valuable and expensive things in any container in the interior and enter the command in the console:
player.removeallitems
(necessary to remove items left in inventory from remote mods that (possibly!) cause CTD games)**, save the game, exit, restart the game, load last save and saved again, exit ((if you are experienced, clear the save from unnecessary scripts with FallrimTools - Script cleaner )), connect (in our case the iNeed) re-installable or new mod, start game, load the last save, wait 5 minutes and saved game. Go ahed!
**You must do the same before installing iNeed, if you connect this mod much later than the start of your game.
If you do not have such a save, then deactivate mod iNeed in the MCM, make a save, exit game, and download again load a save, put all the items you need in the container and enter the command in the console:
player.removeallitems
and make a save, exit the game, restart the game, go to in the "mod settings" menu and set in MCM activate a mod iNeed, load the last save, play.
3) Instruction from swagmaster1969 how to fix this problem:
For anyone crashing-on-save, I disabled iNeed through the MCM, waited a couple minutes, saved, reenabled.
4) try this remedy: Save Cleaner - CTD Fix and Cell Reset
=>Termination of settings MCM menu.
Instruction from phasmaphobic how to fix this problem:
iNeed loaded up for me once - and only once. I was able to get to the MCM menu and adjust some minor settings, and now I am no longer able to get to that Menu. I've tried reloading, deleting and resintalling, and more. Nothing seems to work. The iNeeds option appears in MCM, but when I click it never loads the sub menus.
I managed to fix it with a console forced reload of the MCM using this command:
setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
=>Can't get some water in your waterskin?
You installed mod Realistic Water Two? Install the fix for iNeed ( ver. 1.91 - 1.93 ) ---> Realistic Water Two - Updated Needs Patch
( Please! Read the description for them to understand which one suits you best! )
Attention!
*** iNeed version 1.93 (PExt) - requires the installation of extension powerofthree's Papyrus Extender for its work, but there is no need to put numerous patches on installed mods with changing reservoirs, rivers, waterfalls, etc.
=>Problems arise when using the "character sit down" animation.
This is a long standing problem and is known, do not use this feature or use it in first person only ...
=>Problems with "eat" and "drink" keyboard shortcuts:
namelol23 wrytes:
16 May 2022, 5:10AM if anyone has any hotkey problem with eating go in advance setting and make sure you uncheck cannibalism.
=>For some reason hunger is not replenished by eating (Survival mode!)
Zachlon 06 June 2022, 4:20AM
I solved exact that Problem in the following way:
1) Menu --> Settings --> Gameplay --> Deactivate the in-Game Survival Mode.
2) Wait a few seconds.
3) Optional: deactivate iNeed Mod and consume food until Hunger is gone. After that follow step 1 and 2.
=>After installation, there is no menu MСM mod iNeed
1) enter the command in the console:
setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
2) if for some reason the first method does not suit you, install the mod Jaxonz MCM Kicker SE
3) Any mod that uses a script can fail, there is a third way to get the MCM menu back, but it requires certain skills. Perhaps he will help you. Details use FallrimTools - Script cleaner under the spoiler.
Attention! This method is suitable for those who understand what he is doing. Those who want to wait for the final fix are better off just waiting!
For this to work, you need to re-run the menu script (because the menu script didn't work properly for some reason!).
In order to restore the MCM menu and it did not affect the passage of the already started game, you must perform additional steps:
1) Save your character indoors or in a location.
Do not ignore the warning -> " The iNeed is set, do not open the MCM menu! ", when you first install the mod iNeed !!!
Scenarios should correctly integrate into your save, wait 25 ~ 30 seconds and if you have a lot of mods in the game, then 3 ~ 5 minutes!
Question: I made the waterskin on my belt visible, but now I can’t remove it
Answer: There is a solution to this vanilla game problem - enter in the console command: player.unequipall
If you are using Survival Mode:

PLEASE READ them before asking the same repetitive questions!
If you have read all this and still have questions - ask them.
Campfire & Frostfall (with the Campfire and Frostfall - Unofficial SSE Update)
iNeed - Food Water and Sleep - Continued (this mod right here)
Hunterborn SE (with the Hunterborn SE MCM right below it)
Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul
iNeed Universal Water Patch? (needed for Realistic Water Two SE)
I also have kryptopyr's Automated Patches, but from what I'm reading here, I don't need the one included for making iNeed and CACO play nice?

Hier more info -> Hunterborn MCM Soups and Stews - iNeed Patch Detection Fix
! update 23 Oct 2024 Patch supplied with Hunterborn SE mod not suitable for the new version iNeed 1.95, very outdated and no longer required!
4) As for the recommendation not to change such options as weight and cost of food when installing mod Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul - they still have a place, follow them.
thanks for the continuing work
A new ( 2024 ! ) compatibility patch with an addition Beyond Skyrim - Bruma SE
1) iNeed - Extended - Bruma module with the addition of food and drinks and the ability to collect snow from snowdrifts. At the Tavern they will fill your waterskin.
Download zip archive from here -> iNeed - Extended - Bruma.zip ( ESL format file .esp )
(i) You can collect water from rivers, lakes, snow from snowdrifts.
For correct load order of all mods and their fixes, use Load Order Optimisation Tool ---> LOOT <---
The same if you have already used in your current save early versions iNeed, or fix iNeed__CACO, follow instructions under the spoiler ->
Pond or River Set: Your Character enters knee-deep Water and you use:
(1) Press “Drink/Draw water” hotkey 2~4 seconds assigned in MCM menu iNeed mod ( starts animation of water collection)
(2) Activate an empty Waterskin in the character’s inventory with LKM (mouse), water is drawn into the empty Waterskin.
(3) Water can be obtained from collected Snow, from a bucket placed in the Rain, from a large Barrel and from a small barrel (you buy from merchants: Belethor, Khajiit, others), from a Well ( example: Whiterun - the Bucket stands on the Edge of the Well )
(4) Salt Water is collected ONLY from the Sea. From salty you get ( using a Pot for cooking Food ) Salt.
Important! Salt Water can be collected only Activate an empty Waterskin in the character’s inventory with L-K-Mouse!
Salt Water can not be drunk, so hotkey will not work for drawn Water from Sea!
I hope you installed powerofthree's Papyrus Extender ( and all other components necessary for its operation:
SKSE64 and Address Library for SKSE Plugins and Visual C++ Redistributables (2015/2017/2019) ) to correct any water changed in the game by many mods?
Make sure once again by reading the game report that Papyrus Extender mod actually connected and the report says that it works!
A report on his work is on the way: C:\Users\ name User \Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE
You can simply go to the My Documents folder and find there folder My Games and so on, up to folder SKSE
Report file name: po3_papyrusextender64.log : If it is missing or contains errors, reinstall Papyrus Extender correctly!
- Do iNeed mod MCM menu tips help you?
- Do you use the built-in training system for using iNeed mod, which is built into the mod itself?
- Have you read the Description or Overview of iNeed mod and how to use it?
Or do you prefer to learn about a mod's work by asking questions in a mod discussion?
I'm now playing 1.6.1170. I've run into the CTD on save problem. I've been able to stop the problem temporarily by following the instructions below:
For anyone crashing-on-save, I disabled iNeed through the MCM, waited a couple minutes, saved, reenabled.
However, the problem reoccurs when I reload the save, although the same fix works again.
Is there any way to avoid the problem altogether or to fix the problem permanently?
Thanks for the pleasure your mod has provided.
D0 NOT Ignore Warning in game: -> " The iNeed is set, do not open the MCM menu!
Details use FallrimTools - Script cleaner under the spoiler.
Attention! This method is suitable for those who understand what he is doing. Those who want to wait for the final fix are better off just waiting!
For this to work, you need to re-run script (because the menu script didn't work properly for some reason!).
In order to restore the MCM menu and it did not affect the passage of the already started game, you must perform additional steps:
1) Save your character indoors or in a location, put all things from mods in the container (food, buckets, spare parts for barrels, waterskin, etc.)
2) Stop the execution iNeed mod of the MCM menu show reverse script by doing it in the created save with use program Fallrim Tools: you need to Delete 2 script`s in your Save game using program ( Fallrim Tools , i am using version 4.3.2 ), for this load your save game, open section Active Scripts section, Delete scripts _snskyuiconfig and _snquestscript , go to File for Save result and make another backup of save file.
Thanks for your help!
As for the increase waterskin 3/3 to 10/10 or 20/20, everyone is unlikely to be needed.
update
2) iNeed - Extended changes access to the tops of snowdrifts, adding a mark of snow gathering, try starting a new test game without setting an iNeed - Extended, If the problem remains - the iNeed mod is not at all for your problem of involvement
Most likely this is the problem of the absence (or failure) of textures for snowdrifts.
What would I do: I unpacked the textures (snowdrifts) from file .bsa and placed them in Data your Skyrim folder (observing the correctness of the ways of placement) and stuck that the snowdrifts appeared
Mod Nordic Snow - these are also a textures of a snowdrift, and I do not know if you are installed correctly.
Textures - are just what we see in the game. Or do not see))
I will try to do this in the near future (as soon as there is free time), then I can give an accurate answer.
Specify, Skyland AIO mod install with Nordic Snow mod ?
Do you install a patch for Nordic Snow mod, which is included in iNeed mod installation?
The path of the Game Folder : Data -> Textures -> foodandsleep , files - snow01.dds
P.S. I can make an iNeed - Extended option where all the changes in the snowdrifts are deleted, only recipes for cooking will remain if you are still interested to find the cause of your problem. This will be a good option.
Been loving this mod for a while now, great work man!
I was wondering if this was safe to uninstall mid-save?
It is also necessary to do with any mod that introduces some objects and equipment to the game to remove it from your game
Will I need to do the same for my followers as well?
I would recommend still waiting for 3 days in the room in which you carry out all these procedures so that the assortment of merchants changes
If there is a special bed, then (perhaps!) sleep rest is not counted. But need to check it. Although this is rather a lack of mod for an individual house, because for sleeping a standard condition for sleep is used, which is used by Survival mod.
update I checked, the bed in the house gives rest ( I do not use Survival mod ), look for another reason
thanks in advance for any info/assistance you can provide!
However, such an answer is correct only if you no longer used some very old version iNeed mod in your current of the game.
Function Drunk()
Utility.Wait(0.1)
Int DrunkMax
If IsMale
DrunkMax = 4
Else
DrunkMax = 3
EndIf
