I like the huts and pod but i was never really happy with the bridges, i have them installed myself but i would like to do them a lot better and more vanilla like And the totems ain't great...maybe i could update a few things on it, been a long time since i've looked at them
i remember it was a pain doing these, so thanks , bridges need doing to whatever textures you have installed really, i like the main hut and pod i did, the other stuff never really been happy with to be honest...
This should work on LE, there are no meshes and the textures are DXT1, 3 or 5 i forget. But it's BC7 texture compression which makes textures incompatible with LE these days, so yeah should work fine.
having a look at those falmer bridges, nightmare, if i can make them blend with a few popular texture overhauls be good, should really just be be rock, whatever texture you have for caves i think, i only did the pebble thing cause it disguises a few things, i have CC caves and mines, with permission if they don't i could do it, i think he says...we'll see
You are my hero! I recently got Skyrim VR and was able to find decent textures for a lot of stuff, but then I started on a Dawnguard expansion run and got to Forgotten Vale and it was endless ugly huts and terrible-looking bridges. Most of it is in the merciful dark but then you get to the icy region and they're all out in full daylight and... urgh. This mod to the rescue! (and I checked out a bunch of other mods before landing on this one)
An interesting, original, and beautiful take on what Falmer textures should look like - thank you. I went on a download and endorsing spree, loving the Misc Retextures as well. Can't wait to get to Dragonborn and see what Tel Mithryn looks like now.
You may be the very person I should ask, do you know the base IDs for the various falmer tents decorations and tables? I have been looking online for a few years to no avail. I want to spawn a few for a console command made player home. I know where to get a great retexture mod now too...
Thank you, best Falmer object retexture available! It always bothered me how most of the retextures forgot the inside of the huts and all the other falmer related objects. The 4K option is also much appreciated, and it really shines here because of the bad vanilla UV's of those meshes.
many thanks for these great textures. I really had been looking for a replacement of the horrible vanilla Falmer textures. Screenshots provided - love it.
Just a minor setback: The textures are very(!) clean and even. Having in mind that the Falmers are blind, they may not polish their stuff all day long. For the purpose of testing, i added some colour distortions into the main dds - and tents and windbreakers are looking already much more organic, see: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/1704/38410720-1547949296.jpg https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/images/1704/38410720-1547949433.jpg
My test is of course very amateurish. Any chance that you as a Pro could add some organic scratches, cracks and dirt? That would be very much appreciated.
