Simple adjustments for EnaiSiaion's Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim, aimed at bringing some of the more powerful spells in line and improving overall skill progression in magic.

Permissions and credits
This patch for EnaiSiaion's Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim is meant to improve on some of the balancing anomalies in the mod, as well as its interaction with Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim. The changes are designed to be as simple as possible and preserve the content of the mod while making character progression more rewarding over time without extreme power spikes in the early game. For the most part, this means shuffling around mastery levels with some numerical adjustments here and there. One spell, Ocato's Recital, has been converted into a perk so that a weaker version of it could be attained early on and then be upgraded over time.

Modifications from Apocalypse (9.45)

  • Ocato's Recital - Granted by perk (Vanilla 25/50/75; Ordinator 20/50/80)
  • Drop Zone - Apprentice -> Adept; Magicka Cost 50 -> 150
  • Locate Object - Adept -> Apprentice

  • Conjure Avenging Wraith - Novice -> Apprentice; Stats 150% -> 75%
  • Atronach Mark - Magicka Cost 75 -> 150
  • Soul Cloak - Apprentice -> Adept
  • Conjure Dremora Mentor - Scroll only

No changes

  • Dispel Magic - Scroll only
  • Ghostwalk - Novice -> Expert; Magicka Cost 100 -> 300; Duration -> flat 10 seconds
  • Mind Vision -> Apprentice -> Novice

  • (Ordinator) False Light - Damages for 75% -> 40% of heal amount
  • Tree Rings - Adept -> Expert
  • Channel Energies - Expert -> Adept
  • King's Heart - Scroll only


If installing on an existing save, make sure to remove Ocato's Recital from your character before installing. After installing, use Apocalypse's MCM to repopulate leveled lists.
