If you already have perks assigned when you add this mod, then you may need to remove them and re-assign them (specifically for the crafting perks that were changed: Lab Skeever, Gem Dust, advanced lab, and advanced workshop). Those have a registration step that occurs right when you get the perk for the first time, and I had to change how this step functions from the original Ordinator. To do this remove and re-add, you can use the console (using lab skeever as an example):
help "lab skeever" [this gets you the perk code]
player.removeperk <perk code> [I'd close console right here then reopen it, I don't know if it's necessary, but I like to make sure all the running scripts are fully removed] player.addperk <perk code>
After re-adding the perk, these should all work properly.
I would like to know if I still need to use Power Attack VR to fix the issue after Planck has changed the way that Directional Power Attacks are triggered?
Would it be possible to get a patch for Ordinator to have the Steady Hand archery perk reset to the vanilla Eagle Eye perk for Skyrim VR? At the moment the Ordinator one does nothing in VR while the Eagle Eye perk in vanilla Skyrim VR adds the useful function of having a line and crosshair.
I'm thinking this mod may be the culprit for a problem I'm having. I'm using Spellscribe, the new PLANCK update. I'm having spellscribe trigger on every attack, and not just power attacks.
Does anyone else have experience with this, or insight on how to fix it?
Game keeps crashing as soon as i go into a skill tree, have the vr perk extender, launching from SKSE and use vortex as mm so cant move down them in load order, anythign im missing?
Edit: Even used LOOT and recommended me downloading this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33261but didnt since its not supported in VR still got the same problem
They're entirely separate, so if you want to replace attack speed, you would download that one as well as the normal patch. I kept attack speed separate because some claimed that for melee weapons attack speed influenced how quickly hits could occur, regardless of how fast you are swinging (though I've never tested this out). I usually play light, quick weapons like daggers, and I can't swing fast enough for attack speed to matter.
I'm currently having an issue where Spellscribe triggers whenever I do a regular attack, rather than a power attack. I'm using Planck with the power attack update for reference.
Also, does the dashing power attacks work in VR? I can't seem to get it to trigger the crit sound and notification I remember from flatrim.
Could someone explain how timed block is supposed to work in VR? I haven't taken the perk yet but would like to know if/how it works before I waste a perk. Assuming it does work do I just have to hold my shield up for a certain amount of time before I am hit/attacked or do I need to click and hold the left trigger - don't want to die the first time I try it because it doesn't work or I do it wrong :)
This might be something you have to discover for sure yourself, but as aa guess, I'm thinking you'd have to raise your shield into the block position at just the right time. Might be a little tricky.
